I have in the past attempted to keep many individuals in touch with each other and/or locate many.  I do have a listing of many from my era, especially from Okinawa.  If you are interested in making contact with any member I have listings for, any CRITTER out there can contact me by writing...123 Crooked Oak Lp.  Benton, Ky  42025   At such time, I will contact them and ensure there is no objections on releasing information.   "If the crispy critters of today are like those of yesteryears, they'll understand why many may not like to be located"

You may also help if you happen to know individuals that'll answer to the names of ...
        Sherman   of   Troy NY
        Limon    of Corpus Cristi Tx
        Echo
        Roger Holmes
        Hector Flores  of Chicago
        D.C. Colbert
        Hall   of Uvalde Tx
        E. Johnson  of Nashville area  "BRO J"

Thanks for your time and I'll be digging through the picture boxs and after scanning some, I'll contact you again.    I am not on the net nor E- mail.   You'll have to dig in that junk drawer and find one of those antique sticks and write.

I helped GySgt Allen Gates (Bogue Field)move alot of history from Tustin and El Toro down to Miramar. Now days, El Toro and Tustin are ghost towns, and it's a sad sight to see. Again thanks for the sight to keep crispy critters in touch, and hi to any and all of you that I know.

Stephen Alcorn

I was cruising across the internet today and found your CFR site. Being a former Marine CFRer I thought I'd take a peek. I read your bio regarding your training at NAS Millington and found something intresting. I was there at the same time. I have very few recolections on the names of the fellows that I attended school with. I graduated from MCRD San Diego in 10/79, off to Memphis in 11/79 and graduated 12/79, (top of the class). I remember one name from the class, as he drove a kitten(named crash, of course) that we found there at the school out to El Toro for me. His name was Earl Dollar, I believe a Cpl at that time. I have many photos of the class, including a class picture. If the name Steve Alcorn sounds familer, well it's me. If not, well mabye the whole experience was a dream, anyway I am a Firefighter/Paramedic out her at Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada's. Look at your class pic. If theres a guy in the front row kneeling with a watch cap on holding a kitten, we were in the same class, if not, well be safe. Take care, Stephen Alcorn.
