Kittens For Sale

We usually have kittens for sale throughout the year and sell to indoor homes only and expect our pet quality kittens to be altered. They are being sold to be companions and not for making babies. Our kittens are handled frequently while they are young, making them more amenable to handling as they age.

Remember, Americans are "be with me kitties", not lap kitties that want to be confined by you.

We try to produce only classic silver tabbies, but because of recessive genes, we do occasionally have classic blue tabbies and classic brown tabbies. Ideally we breed our queens only once per year, having had one of our males vasectomized, so that he can service the females and take them out of season. Serviced females do not cycle continuously, lose weight, call or begin to spray. Yes, females who are allowed to cycle repeatedly can and do spray, although the urine odor is not there. Because we start our kitten shots at 6 weeks we invite prospective parents to the house after the first shot in the order that we receive their reservation. To make a reservation we require a $50.00 check which we hold until the prospective parents decide if they like the offered kitten(s) or not. If they like the kitten, then the deposit is banked and arrangements are made for the kitten to be picked up at about 12 to 13 weeks and has had its final kitten shot. If the prospective parent does not like what is offered, then their check is returned or can be kept for a later litter, whichever they decide.
We do ship kittens, but it they are traveling alone we do not let them go until they are 15 to 16 weeks of age. When a reservation is made for a kitten that must be shipped, photos are taken of the available kitten(s) in the same order as if they were a local parent.

To make the kittens transition to its new home smoother, we supply 7 to 10 days of the food that it is eating; toys, a homesick towel, a sample of used litter to be placed on top of the litter in their new litter box, written instructions, several handouts including our vets card, should the new vet wish to contact.
