In September, one of our members, Dee Barbea, guided us on a Tour to Graeagle for Breakfast at the Graeagle Meadows Golf Course followed by a drive to the Kentucky Mine and Museum which is located on Hiway 49 near Sierra City and Downieville.

We all had a Great Time during a Tour of the mine and the Stamp Mill used for processing the Gold that was taken from the mine.
During the Tour of the mine we were given a history on the mine which dates back to the Gold Rush days of the mid 1800's.
We also toured the museum with its artifacts of the Mining Era.

Afterwards, we stopped at Bassetts for an Ice Cream break before proceeding back to Quincy.

Thanks Dee, we had a Great Time!
