The caption under the photo read "NEW CLUB FORMS- Local Model "A" Ford owners have formed the Feather River
A's Automobile Club - now a chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America. At their first meeting in April, Rick Barnum was
elected president; Roy Pinelli, vice president; Jim Webster, secretary-treasurer; and Sandy Pricer, nation liason. The first
outing of the group came when they stopped at the new Bulletin offices Tuesday morning. From far left is Roy Pinelli, Jim
Webster, Rick Barnum, Sandy Pricer, Phil Bresciani and Dan Turner, all standing in front of refurbished classics. Tentative
plans have been set to participate in the "Fly In" at Gansner Airfield in June and a drive by during the 1979 Plumas
County Fair Parade in August. The May meeting will include a tour to Graeagle this Saturday. Club members will gather at the
Safeway parking lot at 10 a.m. and tour together to the Graeagle Picnic Grounds for a picnic lunch and "tire-kickin",
arriving about 11 a.m. Anyone owning a Model A Ford or interested is invited to participate. Ownership of a running vehicle
isn't required; people interested in attending the meeting may drive "modern iron."

Dan Lambach another long time member of the Feather River "A's" has restored and owned many vehicles. His current
project is a 1928 Sport Coupe which we affectionately call "RUSTY", we are all anxiously awaiting its completion.
It is definitely a "work in progress" award winner!
He is also an avid collector of parts, and they don't have to be just Model A parts, do they Dan?
One of his favorite sayings is:
"This is MODEL A country, at night you can hear a FORD rust!!"
