This is a wide open living room dining area with shelves of CDs and books, expensive audio equipment, a high definition TV as well as an open kitchen area. We set up the dust collector on the balcony off the living room. No plastic was used, nothing was covered. People who have had their floors sanded the usual way (a flimsy cloth bag attached to the sander resulting in massive dust migration on all surfaces and nooks and crannies) are truly amazed to experience the dust-free system.
