Organizational Bylaws

Following are portions of the Family Outreach bylaws, stating the purpose and nature of the organization.
"This religious organization or association (hereafter called the Mission Board) is organized exclusively for religious reasons, and its purpose is to provide religious services and related religious activities for all interested persons. This includes, but is not limited to, the conducting of religious educational activities, publishing of religious literature, sustaining of missionaries and their families, and providing assistance to the poor and needy.
"This Mission Board has all the powers of a religious organization and a nonprofit corporation under Chapter 355 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. It has all the rights of an organization which is formed exclusively for religious purposes within the meaning of section 501(c) (3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code…"
"Membership in this Mission Board shall consist of those persons whose names are affixed to its charter and such other persons as may be elected to membership by a unanimous vote of all the members of the Mission Board."
