Lyons

This is a collection of gravestones from the Lyons branch of my family.  Click on each thumbnail for a larger view of the photo.

Robert Lyons and Mary Hoagland, married in Morris County, New Jersey on February 15, 1821.  They moved with the Hoagland family to Ohio to work on The Ohio and Erie Canal.

The cemetery for Robert Lyons (1797-1843).  Due to the deterioration of the old marble stones and destroyed church records, the exact burial plot is unknown.  The cemetery is located in Roscoe, Coshocton County, Ohio. Mary Hoagland Lyons (1803-1871), wife of Robert and mother to 9 children.  She is buried in the north east corner of East State Street Cemetery, Newcomerstown, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.

Ada Wier Lyons (1845-1922), wife to William and mother of 12.  She is buried next to her husband in Newcomerstown.
