Our 8 Steps for Healing and Wholeness

These steps are progressive and build on each other

1)    We come to admit that we are powerless to restore our faith in God, and we acknowledge our need for God’s help.

2)    We come to believe that God exists, that we matter to Him, and that He has the power to restore us to faith, spiritual clarity, and wholeness.

3)    We come to understand the freeing nature of the gospel of grace through Jesus Christ.

4)    In response to an understanding of God’s love and grace, we make a conscious decision to surrender our will and our lives over to His care.

5)    As we come to see them, we admit our faults and weaknesses to God, to ourselves, and to another person (or people) who we trust.  We trust God and seek His help for healing in these areas.

6)    We evaluate our relationships, and offer forgiveness to those who have hurt us.  We make amends for harm we have done to others when possible, except when doing so would harm them or others.

7)    We seek through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, asking for understanding of His love and grace, the knowledge of His will, and the power to carry that out.

8)    Having experienced greater faith, spiritual clarity and wholeness as a result of these steps, we carry this message to others, and continue to practice these principles in our daily lives.
