The group facilitator says something like..... “Hello.  Welcome to Faith Survivors Anonymous.  My name is______,  and I am the group’s facilitator today.   At this time, we would like to go around the room and have each of you introduce yourself by name.  If this is your first time, you may also share what brought you to the group if you would like to." Everyone does so. 

The facilitator then distributes the following pages to different members to read and asks them to read in this order:

1.    Purpose of the Group

2.    How the Group Works

3.    What the Group is Not

4.    Our 8 steps for Healing and Wholeness 

After these are read, the facilitator says “Now to begin the sharing time ,______________________ has volunteered to take a little more time to share some of his/her story with us.” 

After this person shares, the facilitator says “Now, the meeting is open for others to share.”
