Earthbound:

Never again,
Without a single sound,
Silent musings swing forth from below,
Their wings of steel,
Battling savagely so,
While I slip and falter,
My words drowned venom from the past,
If I could only see,
Touch further than this hindering flesh,
If my soul was strong enough,
Conquer the doubts this shell harbours here,
Perhaps, once again, I could speak through this thickening haze.
