Second build: The Fuzz Central - Ampeg Scrambler, General Guitar Gadgets-Scrambler
For my second build I decided to attempt the Ampeg Scrambler as I did not have any octave type effects. This was a harder build with more components. I did my own perf layout which went OK except that I ended up having one capacitor cross over another (I guess the sound is still fine).
The graphic was again accomplished with the iron on T-shirt transfer method. The graphic is a picture of some scrambled eggs my wife and I ate for breakfast one morning. The words "blender" and "texture" have a slight bacon look :).
The effect sound is very interesting. At lower blend settings it has a vintage fuzz type of sound; at higher settings a wild octave effect comes in. I probably would not use this very often, but when I want something different this has that sound.
