Fourth build: Tim Escodedo's Jawari
The Jawari is a "different" kind of octave effect that makes the guitar sound like a sitar. I am a fan of Indian classical music and have many instruments from around the world. I thought this would be an interesting way to play world music on the instrument with which I'm most comfortable. Unlike conventional octave effects, you want to keep the guitar trebly to get the most out of it.
The build is completely according to Tim's schematic, with the Timbre pot controlled on the outside. The graphic features an Indian sari type of background pattern with a sitar running down the right side, and a sanskrit type font for the word'Jawari'.
