• EASY LIFE
— Easy Life is a success formula which is designed to ensure a steady flow of positive energy in your life. While
not as strong as Fast Luck, Fast Success, or Fast Money, it is an excellent long-term fragrance once you have things going
the way you like them. Use with white, yellow, blue, pink, or green candles. (O)
EASY WRATH —
If there is someone who is angry with you and you haven’t been able to make amends, Easy Wrath is New Orleans’ answer.
Use this oil on a white or yellow candle representing the angry person. This recipe is particularly effective in combination
with Repentant which is described elsewhere in this catalog. (O)
ELLEGUA —
Ellegua is a Santeria formula to help with legal problems. Use on white or brown candles placed on or near any documents relevant
to the case. Use on white candles with an accused individual’s name carved on them to help win leniency. Wear to court
if possible. Excellent when used in combination with High John, Jury Winning, and Low John. (O)
• ENDING
— This is a remarkably handy, but too often overlooked oil. This oil is used to end any kind of ritual, from
hexing to healing, to ensure that none of the evoked entities hover in your vicinity. This oil is alleged to send a signal
to the spirit planes that the magic is finished and that the spirits are to depart to do their work. I consider this oil essential
for beginners because it protects them from any missteps they may have made in their ritual design. Use on red candles. (O)
• ENVY &
JEALOUSY — If people are envious of you, your family, or your success, try using this oil on a white candle
representing yourself. It is said to disperse envy and cause others to take great delight in your happiness instead of seeking
strategies to subvert it. (O)
EUCALYPTUS —
Eucalyptus is one of the strongest healing oils in the New Orleans tradition.
While it is generally mixed with other healing oils, it also works fine by itself. Use with white, yellow or red candles.
(EO)
• EVE —
Here’s an exciting love oil that has been working wonders for well over a hundred years in New Orleans. The primary
function of this oil is “seduction.” It is a magnetic, en chanting oil that men find very exciting. Wear or use
on red or pink candles. The incense form is great for any sort of love spell, particularly where you aren’t sure if
your romantic interest is shared by the other person. (O)

• FAST CASH
– I had to wait 20 years to obtain one of the oils required to make this New Orleans
classic. Finally, in 2003 I managed to obtain the missing ingredient and the incense has skyrocketed to the top of my clients’
favorites. Although this incense was designed to provide a “quick fix” in times of financial distress, it makes
a wonderful everyday money-drawing recipe. (I, O)
• FAST LUCK
— Fast Luck is thought to stimulate your luck without delay. The incense is normally used in conjunction with
a green candle. I have used this formula many times over the years with excellent results. However, it has been my observation
that a little goes a long way and over-burning of this fragrance can sometimes trigger “too much” action, making
it difficult or impossible to take advantage of the many opportunities that come our way. I sometimes like to combine Fast
Luck with a love or success incense because it interacts well with any positive potion. (I, O)
FAST MONEY —
This is a recipe from Scott Cunningham’s The Complete Book of Incense, Oils & Brews. Although it departs
in some of its ingredients from the New Orleans tradition, Scott’s scholarly
research into herbal magic makes this an interesting alternative. Use with yellow or green candles. (O)
FAST SUCCESS —
This formula was designed for business people, sales people in particular. Although it shares some of Fast Luck’s capabilities,
it is more “business oriented” and tends to be helpful in closing a contract or sale. Use with yellow, red, green
or brown candles. (O)
FENNEL SEED —
Fennel Seed has a potent reputation as a hexing ingredient in Southern voodoo circles. Its legendary attribution is “sorrow”
and it is also associated with false flattery. Fennel Seed is an ingredient in many “confusion” recipes. Use with
black or purple candles. Scott Cunningham, in his book Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs, associates
Fennel with protection and purification, but I strongly disagree with him. (NOTE: Fennel Seed is only available as a pharmaceutical
grade essential oil. Cost is $6 per quarter ounce. This oil does not count towards discounts.) (EO)
FIERY COMMAND
— Fiery Command is similar to all the other commanding oils, except it contains Dragon’s Blood which gives
it the added dimension of being highly protective. Since there can sometimes be a tendency in commanding rituals for an unpleasant
“boomerang” unless you know what you’re doing, Fiery Command protects the novice practitioner against such
a nasty eventuality. Use with purple or red candles. (I, O)
• FIERY WALL
OF PROTECTION — Fiery Wall is New Orleans’ best-known
protection formulas, handling every sort of threat with panache. This recipe can be used to help with legal, health and business
problems. Use with red or purple candles. Excellent when burned in combination with Seven African Powers, Commanding, Bend
Over, or Uncrossing. (I, O)
• FIRE OF LOVE
— Among New Orleans practitioners, two of the favored sex-related
potions are called the “two fires” — Fire of Love and Fire of Passion. Essentially these are similar recipes,
varying only in terms of degree. Fire of Love is slightly less x-rated than Fire of Passion, but both are powerful sexual
compellants. Fire of Love is used when you want a slight hint of romance mixed in with the lust. Use with red candles. May
be used alone or in combination with other love-oriented potions. (O)
• FIRE OF PASSION
— Use the same as Fire of Love, but Fire of Passion is strictly about sexual pleasure. (O)
FLAMING POWER
— This is a commanding and compelling recipe, but is used almost exclusively for purposes of protection. For
that purpose, burn alone or in combination with a purple candle. Although this formula may be used to apply pressure to a
situation in order to force issues to your advantage, I do not suggest that inexperienced practitioners employ it in that
way. Flaming Power is often burned in combination with Uncrossing, Van Van, Fast Luck, Lady Luck, Lucky Dog, and Obeah. (I,
O)
• FLYING DEVIL
— Looking for the most powerful hex-reversing oil there is? You’ve come to the right spot. I often think
of this oil as “instant karma” in a bottle. You must NEVER use this oil offensively or you can land yourself in
hot water. However, used defensively, it completely reverses any evil spells (including negative vibes) and sends them right
back at the person who’s transmitting them. Use with purple or black candles. (O)
FOLLOW ME (Sigueme)
— This is a general-purpose “good vibes” recipe, used to ensure that money, love and good luck will
follow you. It may be worn or mixed with other oils because more than anything else it is an attraction formula. Use on yellow,
green, red, pink or white candles. (O)
FOLLOW ME BOY
— According to tradition, this recipe was created by Marie Laveau, the queen of New Orleans
voodoo circles in the 1890s. Originally designed for prostitutes, this recipe has money, love, and protection herbs incorporated
in it. Burn alone or with red candles. May be burned in combination with Venus, Goddess of Love, Astarte, or any other love
incense. (O)
FOR A MAN TO LOVE
YOU — This is a recipe designed to make your man more loving and affectionate. It is used to counteract the
romantic boredom that often enters an established relationship. Wear or use on red candles. (O)
FORGET HER —
As its name implies, this recipe is New Orleans’ answer to obsessive thoughts
about a past female lover. Use to anoint the temples and the heart. Also use on blue candles representing yourself. (O)
FORGET HIM —
This recipe is used the same as Forget Her, except it is designed for women to help them forget a former male lover who turned
out to be less Cupid than stupid. (O)
FORTUNE TELLER —
Fortune Teller is a psychic oil, often used by fortune tellers to help them see things more clearly. Place a drop under the
nose or use on white candles when performing psychic readings. (O)
FOUR WINDS (Cuatro
Vientos) — This is a classic Santeria recipe used to summon success and good luck. Use on green, yellow,
or red candle.(O)
FRANGIPANI —
Frangipani, sometimes called Graveyard Flowers, is a love flower and is ruled by Venus. Because of its association with death,
Frangipani is believed in some traditions to call upon the spirits of dead ancestors to help bring love into a person’s
life. Personally I don't buy into that, but there's no doubt Frangipani is a deliciously haunting fragrance. Use with pink
or red candles. (EO)
• FRANKINCENSE
— Long associated with luck, money, and success, Frankincense can be used either alone or in combination with
other oils in candle rituals aimed at any of those objectives. Long a staple in many world religions, this is a vital component
in any practitioner’s arsenal. Use with yellow, white, pink, or blue candles. (I, EO)
FREESIA —
This delightful and subtle fragrance is associated with love, abundance, and joy. As one of magic’s nice guys, Freesia
can be used in any positive ritual aimed at any of those areas. Use with white, pink, yellow, green, or red candles. (O)
