The History of the Zone.

Well, this page started as an actual BBS many moons ago.  I originally wanted to help people with their systems,
and provide a file or two that would be useful.  Soon, I was interacting with almost everyone at one level or another.
When I started linking in with Fidonet and all the souls associated with that network, I discovered that this world is
very small.

Well, the world may have been small, but the phone company certainly wanted to make sure you knew that there
was definitely some distance invovled!  I soon had to tear down the Zone due to phone bills.  However, my last
parting comment to friends and aquaintances was that I would be back, either as a small BBS or a big one, it didnt
matter.  That was 4 years ago, and I will not be back.  I have, instead, decided to put up a web page dedicated to
those things that I enjoyed.   Things that made the Zone unique, and what made me want to talk to people before.

This page is dedicated to Anime, Science, Computers, Sci-Fi, and most other technically aligned subjects.

Where the Name came from.

Some people have asked where I got the name for my BBS, now web page.  Well, the name comes from a show
I used to watch along time ago.  Actualy,  the name is from the "Bad Guys" of the show.  Just like many things I
believe that nothing is as we think it is.  This show was an idea example of that.  The name of the show, Robotech.
This was a program that dealt with lifes ups and downs better than anything I had seen at the time.  Of course, it was
brought to us by Carl Macek for Harmony Gold productions.  This was an earth shattering show for me.  It was the
show that launched me into the wonderful world of Anime and Manga.  Of course, if you have seen the show, you
know the antagonists as the Zentraedi. In the Japanese version of the show, it was spelled Tsentradi.

The actual name has been spelled so many different ways, I really done know which is the correct way to spell it, so..
