Satin Rabbits are a beautiful commercial breed. Satins are recognized in 11 different varieties: Black, Blue, Broken,
Californian, Chinchilla, Chocolate, Copper, Otter, Red, Siamese and White. Satins weigh between 8 1/2 and 11 pounds.
They are unique due to their unusual fur. It has a finer diameter hair shaft and a transparent hair shell. The two factors
make Satin fur soft and shiny. The transparency of the outer hair shell also makes the satin colors more brilliant!

2005 ARBA Convention was held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
I am proud to say we exhibited 4 red Satins and they were all placed in the top 4 of their classes. Our 6/8 Buck
won Best of Variety. There were 118 red Satins at Convention.
