Eric Walls has had a career in family feature film animation since July 1990 with extensive experience in both traditional hand-drawn and computer animation. He has contributed animation to various feature films of Disney, DreamWorks, Paramount and Warner Brothers.

Before entering the animation career field, he attended the Character Animation Program at California Institute of the Arts, where he extensively studied animation, art, story, and film. In his second year of enrollment he received a partial scholarship from Disney.

After completing his studies, Eric began his career at Disney where his film credits include "Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin," "The Lion King," "Pocahontas," "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," and "Hercules." During his time at DreamWorks, he animated on both "The Prince of Egypt" and "The Road to El Dorado." Other projects include "Rugrats Go Wild" for Paramount, "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" for Warner Brothers, and the August 2006 release "Barnyard: The Original Party Animals" for Paramount. In March 2005, Eric returned to Disney, recently completing animation on "Meet the Robinsons" now in theaters. He continues to animate on a brand new feature, tentatively scheduled for a November 2008 release.

"The Harbor Light" is Eric's first children's book.
