Meet Sage

Sage is the coolest dog ever to walk to earth!! She's a red deer-looking dog with too much energy. She was born in the winter of 1993 and my friend gave her to me for my 18th birthday. She was so small that I could hold her in one hand. The first thing she did while in my ownership is wake up, poop, then go back to sleep. Haha I hope nobody looks at this page cuz I made it while I was bored at work. But enough about me. This is Sage.

Hi!

She's my pooper. I call her my pooper cuz she's a dog and all dogs do is sleep and poop. She spends most of her time dragging her food dish & whining for me to come play with her or sleeping. She *always* has to have a ball with her, whether she's sleeping or playing, whatever. She likes anything that involves throwing, catching and running away from you when you try to get what you threw to her so you can throw it again. She's a total wuss when I take her out for a walk. Though she's a big 1/2 Hound 1/2 Retriever, she runs away from poodles and all the dogs that like to sniff her... Wouldn't you though? (I mean run away, not sniff her.)

Here she is doing what she does best. zzzzzzz....(notice the ball)

Sage is so lady-like. She lays down with her front paws crossed. She thinks she's the size of a puppy & tries to sit on my lap whenever I sit down. If I go to sleep, she jumps up & naps with me. She is good at doing stuff on command. She will speak (or beg for whatever I'm eating, including salad & fruit), roll around on her back, the usual sit, shake & lay down, and she likes to jump up & wrap her legs around my leg or waist & hug me. (She has never tried to get it on with my leg, so she doesn't lose any points there.) When I ask her to, she will look for the scrunchee that she took out of my hair & chewed up. She walks off-leash and even though she runs away from poodles and got hit by a van once, she's still alive.

Roll, puppy!! (ball again)

Sage thinks it's OK to eat raisins & chocolate BUT IT'S NOT! So even if your dog asks nicely, don't give them these foods. Since she doesn't complain, I'll say she likes the music I like, and her favorite album has to be Symbolic by DEATH, because that's the one she kicks it to. She probably likes Death because the vocals sound like a screeching uhh.. dying cat or something. But Death rules & I like to jam with them (on my CD player). Sage likes to float air biscuits while I'm in the middle of typing on my computer so I get stuck with the odor. She thinks if she floats and I stay it was meant to be. She has a bath every month or so & likes to dig so many holes in the yard that her nose turns into a dirt-clod. She's a baby cuz whenever I run into her by accident or squeeze her nose (cuz it's so cute) she squeals.

Sage's favorite ball!

Sage's most embarrassing moment was when she was running down the street and I called her name and she looked back & ran straight into the next-door neighbor's truck tailgate and his alarm went off. If I get annoyed and try to tell her not to do something, she does it anyway and makes me laugh, then she takes advantage of me cuz she knows I'm laughing so she does as many silly things as possible to take away my bad mood. We gots a history together. She's always there & she's my best friend even though she can't carry my stuff when my band plays, haha (jk).

Here's Sage with her bud Freckles! =)

OK. I have to put my other pets here, too!

Yes, my cats names are Bill & Ted. Here they are pictured as Ted and Bill (RIP '02). I love how Ted always lifts her paw. Maybe she thinks she's gay cuz she has a boy's name. She's such a luvslut! She always wants to be pet...and she drools when you pet her for a long time.

They love each other!! They always wrap their tails around each other, bathe each other, etc. Bill has perfect pronounciation when she says MEOW. It's so cute. :P My other cat Gidget isn't on this site yet cuz she's camera-shy and she hates Ted. She's the mother of these 2, however. Strange, eh?

My bird is an auto-eroticist. Once I just heard her chirping and chirping, so I thought she was hurt or something... turns out she has this sex-toy. Not kidding. It's just a candle. Well, it *was* just a candle. I tried to get this as magnified as possible...but you get the picture I'm sure.

My bird lays many eggs. This one wasn't hers, but the pic rules.

I have some fishies too. One of them has a name. It's One-Eyed Jack (RIP too). He only has a right eye. He's cute anyway, and I like watching him look for food cuz he zips around so he can see the food before the others get to it. He also looks down by tilting his entire body. Hehe! I guess soon I'll put pictures of my old horsies here too.

Here's Jack (left)!!! Next to him is the fish I got with him, they were the same size, but since he sees with 2 eyes, he eats more! When I was pouring my fish in the tank, I thought this one lost his eye, but it looks like he was just born without one.

Weebl & Bob!! Well, here they're Bob & Weeb. I love finches. These are my new house mates. They each have a different song. Weebl is a Society Finch (Asian) and Bob's a Zebra Finch (Australian). PEEP! In case you don't know who Weebl & Bob really are, GOOGLE THEM and find out, wanker!

I said I'd put my old horses on here, but I'm going to put my horsie that I have NOW on here instead! Here he is! This is Zorak! He's a 4 year old black bay Thoroughbred, he used to race but I don't think he liked it. This is right when I got him. He was still 3 and had warts on his chin!

This is Zorak visiting with one of the other horses on the track. He loves being social with other horses, and prefers to ride out on trails with company. If there's not another horse to keep him company he's still happy that he has me to hang out with. He puts his head in my arms like he's hugging me. That's a lot, considering he didn't used to let me touch his face or ears. Poor guy. All better now tho - I can slap him around and he knows it's all out of love and not aggression.

This is when I still had to keep his halter on while I bridled him and he wouldn't accept a chinstrap or nose band. All simple here. Look at his giraffe neck! Will he ever grow into it?

Here he is about 6 months later with my mom - he started to fatten up and didn't mind being handled.

Also, by this time he was used to riding with his head down, with an Argentine snaffle and his entire bridle and no hesitation. He even took his first jump shortly after.

MORE CUTE PICS OF SAGE!!!!

This is the cuuuuuuuuuuuutest picture! I love when she sits with her legs crossed!

She loooooooooves her ball!

It's so cute when she hops around in tall grass. Here, you can see the line down her back which is one of the many reasons I think she's a Rhodesian Ridgeback (but the fur doesn't go the opposite direction and it's a little longer). She has to have something else in there, but she looks and acts just like they do.
