Albums of 2003!!

Oh, the many wonderful bands that crossed through my ears over this year :P ...I went through some changes and had not updated my website for a long time so I am a total slacker!

OK, on to the Metal!

December, 2003

OLD MAN'S CHILD - In Defiance of Existance

I don't know where I've been, but Old Man's Child kicks my ass even when I'm not listening to them. I even kinda wanted Dimmu to play an OMC song at the last show!

Stay frosty... OLD MAN'S CHILD

Favorite track: 5 - Sacrifice of Vengeance, with 2 - Agony of Fallen Grace as a close second.

November, 2003

MONSTROSITY - Rise To Power

I love the first solo in track 5 (Chemical Reaction). This album is true to Monstrosity's ongoing theme of brutal and intelligently pieced together riffage. Gotta love it!

Their official website didn't have much...not sure if I had the right address..

Favorite track: 1 - The Exordium, or 10 - Abysmal Gods.

September, 2003

DISSECTION - The Somberlain

Why did this band have to burn churches and go to jail?? I love this album. Couldn't take it out of my car! Black Metal, not too raw, but still raw.

Play guitar? Go audition for Dissection and come play here soon! DISSECTION!!!

Favorite track: 1 - Black Horizons

October, 2003 ANACRUSIS - Manic Impressions

Anacrusis is fun THRASH! Everyone needs some Thrash in their diet! \m/

Anacrusis encourages you to download their music for your enjoyment.Go download ANACRUSIS and rock!

Favorite track: 4 - Dream Again

September, 2003

SYRIS - Unseen Forces

This band I've never seen or heard of, but I got the CD as a gift and it was pretty cool, the vocalist has a really good voice. More Power-metal-ish than I normally listen to, but it was in my player for a long time.

Couldn't google up a website..

Favorite track: 9 - Intruder

August, 2003

SOLITUDE AETURNUS - Adagio

One of those albums I borrowed for a long ass time and need to get a copy of my own. Good Doomy stuff!

Solitude Aeturnus

Favorite track: 6 - Personal God

July, 2003

OPETH - Damnation

It's Opeth. Need I say more?

(Like I even need to link their site..)

Favorite track: 1 - Windowpane

June, 2003

DIMMU BORGIR - Death Cult Armageddon

This album is better than Puritanical. More evil and less gothy. Not that Puritanical wasn't good. It kicked much ass. Keep it up in the heaviness department (think Enthrone Darkness Triumphant)!

Dimmu!

Favorite track: 3 - Lepers Among Us

before this time I was kinda out of commission (mentally) and listening to a lot of mp3s and random stuff...nothing that I obsessed over enough to make an album of the month. Now stop obsessing over my past and get into the now! I finally have...
