Career Objective: 

To utilize my creative, artistic, graphical, and audio engineering skills in a position where I can be multi-tasked and multi-functional with all my experiences to bring a product to fruition. I have vision, design, and energy to not only complete a project but add a spark.

Projects

• I worked as an independent contractor as camera operator or audio engineer on projects for such organizations as: Nasa, Ames Research Yuri’s Night Event, Microsoft, Global Exchange, Yoga Journal Magazine, and Nvidia
• My current work at Lobitos Creek Ranch included many different projects such as  Yoga Journal Magazine and  Live Concert videos and documentaries. Along with my technical skills I also have experience in carpentry for set building.
• I have 20 years experience with live sound amplification and recording musical acts. I’ve recently completed some consulting work for Seraphin and The Bingtones including video and audio production
• I’m knowledgeable of various microphones, mixing boards and speakers. I work as a contractor helping with recording some projects such as Yoga Journal DVDs and various product demos.
• From 1983 to 2004 I worked in the graphic arts and printing industry. Including production, management and customer service. Operating large offset presses producing 4 color process materials for a variety of clients.

 Technical Skills

Audio Engineer

• Duties include creating soundtracks in Final Cut pro for video.
• Recording live sound for video to digital field recorder and recording voice over for video.

Stage Manager

• For San Jose Jazz Festival, assistant to Wally Schnalle

Production Coordinator

• Duties include coordinating all gear for location video shoot.
• Setting up multiple cameras such as Sony PD150 and Sony Z1U
• Setting up intercom system from control room to camera operators.
• Running audio feeds direct to cameras, setting levels for live mics on cameras.
• General debugging and trouble shooting of entire project.
• Supervising and coordinating  camera operators riggers and assistants.
• Overseeing the wrap of entire project.

Camera Operator

• Duties include full knowledge of the operation of PD150 and Z1U.

Rigger

• Duties include design, placement and setting up lighting for project.

Audio Tech

• Duties include live recording on location. Recording to digital field recorder.
• (I use a Korg D1200) and recording live mics to cameras.

Assistant Editor

• Duties include Logging and capturing and editing in Final Cut Pro.
• Samples are available on request.
