What's a nice person like me doing studying architecture? Dunno. However, it's an interesting way to learn American history, and I'm finding out all kinds of things.

Stay tuned as I dredge up facts and theories and practice building houses with my latest passion: Google's SketchUp, wonderful 3D modeling software. I'm keeping some of the ones I struggled over with Paint Shop Pro, that is, the ones that don't show (too much) what a horrible time I have with perspective.

The periods that are underlined in the American Architecture Time Line have some pages already, and I'm working as fast as I can.

I hope this site helps both of us understand architecture. Please feel free to let me know what you think and any suggestions you might have.
