Reviewed 2009 by John Kirk. ¹ Mills TP is rivalled by Point 2223 about 1½ miles to its NW. However, Point 2223 cannot be the Val Verde county prom point because it would have only 307' prominence, which is less than the other two contenders could possibly have. ² A large mesa sprawls across the border of Borden and Garza counties, with 15 2860' contours but no 2880' contour. 11 of these (1 of which includes Miller TP) are in Borden county, whereas the other 4 are in Garza county. If Garza county wins the prominence of the mesa, the mesa is the Garza county prom champ. However if Borden county wins the prominence of the mesa, it may or may not be the county prom champ, because Mushaway Pk is also a contender. ³ A small 2620+ area 800' W is presumed to be lower. ⁴ Obar Hill is rivalled for the same prominence by a hill at 29°30'25"N 97°13'36"W in Gonzales county. Regardless of whether Obar wins the rivalry, it is still the Fayette county prom champ. The following counties' most prominent points are unknown but definitely less than 200 feet:
