Metamorphoses: St. Louis

The Laws of Prince Shannon Robertson

These, simply put, are the few laws that Prince Robertson has felt it necessary to issue since coming to power in March of 1905. There are few of them, and only one or two addendums, but for the most part, the Prince feels that these rules are enough to keep the city running smoothly -- and would hate to be proven wrong.

  1. Remember the First Tradition at all times. Keep the Masquerade and prevent others from endangering it.
  2. Respect the Domain and territories that you are within -- keep the Masquerade and do not violate it.
  3. Remember the Third Tradition; we are the Elder of that Tradition. Any Kindred found created without our permission shall be slain, and their Sire shall be punished, if not slain as well.
  4. Those who have territories are charged with keeping those territories safe and protected. If someone is found endangering the territory of another, they shall be castigated to the fullest.
  5. Remember the Sixth Tradition. We shall slay those who slay their fellows.
  6. Remember the laws of the mortal populace, and keep them when you can.
  7. Added January of 1981: The Seneschal is granted the full rights and duties of administration in St. Louis; all mundane matters of state shall be dealt with by the Seneschal.
  8. Added August of 1996: Those Kindred who are members of the Anarchs are granted the freedom of existence within St. Louis, provided they follow these laws, respect the Elysiums, and keep the Masquerade safe. They are allowed to maintain their own ways and police themselves -- provided their actions do not pose problems for the Camarilla of St. Louis.
  9. Added November of 1998: The Seneschal of St. Louis, along with the Keeper of Elysium and the Sheriff of St. Louis, are hereby granted the Right of Destruction as decreed by the Sixth Tradition and need not answer to anyone but ourselves when invoking that Right.
