The Brujah:
Angel Walker: This Brujah first came to St. Louis in 1995, when she and her Sire were passing through on their way from California. While her Sire decided to continue traveling, Angel decided to remain in St. Louis -- although it was rumored that she stayed behind because her Sire asked her to do so, not because of any great love she had for the city. She had some connection with Chief Joseph Mokwa of the St. Louis police department and worked as an investigator for the police as well, laboring over odd cases. Although she left town in May (supposedly for good) in order to further her police career, going to a new job in Kansas, Angel couldn't stay away from town and returned to St. Louis in July. It is unknown how long she will be staying in St. Louis now, or if she'll be coming and going more frequently in the future. Angel Walker is Accepted and Acknowledged, and is played by Jennifer Hanrahan.
Mark Bateman: This Brujah was Embraced in 2000 by the former Brujah Primogen, Ezekiel Swagger. Bateman, a former officer in the St. Louis Police Department, had been investigating a series of murders that appeared to involve a gang; he ultimately tracked the gang down to a warehouse and was taking action when members of the Camarilla arrived on the scene. Unknown to Bateman, the gang was a small group of Anarchs who had been causing problems, and the Camarilla had decided (with the help of some Anarchs) to intervene and take care of matters before more trouble occurred. Unfortunately, Bateman got caught up in the Camarilla-Anarch fighting, but also managed to take down three Kindred (two Anarchs and one Camarilla) during the melee. After the dust settled, Swagger made Bateman an offer to join the Brujah. Bateman agreed, and after resigning from the police as a minor hero (he cited "combat shock" as his reason to leave the force), he was Embraced and has been with the Clan ever since, still maintaining portions of his mortal existence and having connections with the police of the city. Mark Bateman is Accepted, Acknowledged, Dedicated, Feared and Trustworthy. He serves as the Whip of his Clan and has been also named as an Assistant Keeper of Elysium Pro Temp. Bateman is played by Drew Gilchrist.
Matthias Griffin:This Brujah, formerly from London, came to St. Louis with Jean de la Courcel back in 1817 and was involved in the fighting to take the city from the Sabbat. Before coming to St. Louis, he was quite active among the Brujah of London (and most of England), assisting the Clan in a variety of ways, keeping the peace and generally working with his brethren to avoid strife and turmoil. It is known that Griffin has been active among the Camarilla for over two hundred years before leaving London and it is rumored that his Sire was among some of the first Brujah to join the Camarilla. Of course, after helping de la Courcel take St. Louis, Griffin opened a public house, and spent almost all the 188 years since then in his pub, generally not being involved in matters in the city. Of course, over time, the pub has changed nature and is now currently a club named Club Static, and Griffin has only recently begun to become more involved in the events of St. Louis, and has even been named Primogen of the Clan. Matthias Griffin is viewed as Accepted, Acknowledged, Famous, Feared, Revered and Well-Known, but it should be pointed out that almost all of that Status was granted to him back in London and before his arrival in St. Louis. Matt Collier plays Matthais Griffin.
Shannon Robertson: The Prince of St. Louis since March of 1905, Prince Robertson has been working to improve the fortunes of St. Louis ever since coming to power, and especially after the Great Depression caused huge numbers of Kindred to leave the city. Under Prince Robertson's rule, the city has started to regain what it lost, and is on its way to regaining the importance it once had. Shannon Robertson came to St. Louis in 1862, and was heavily involved with the efforts to sway the city to support the Union during the Civil War. Shannon was not involved with efforts of the Brujah Nikolai Dušan to defeat Prince de la Courcel in 1868, and was one of the few Brujah who supported de la Courcel at that time. Prince Robertson is Accepted, Acknowledged, Admired, Esteemed, Exalted, Famous, Honorable, Respected, Trustworthy and Well-Known. Prince Robertson is an NPC played by the Storytellers as needed, and is sometimes played by all or some of the Storytellers at once -- which, while it might sound confusing, isn't all that confusing, especially since the Storytellers hope that they won't be needing to play the Prince all that often....
Solomon Epstein: Solomon, or "Shotgun Solly" as he was known back in his mortal days, is one of the major players in the local crime scene in St. Louis. He was involved in crime back in his mortal days as a member of one of the major gangs in St. Louis in the 1920s, and was ghouled by a Brujah who was looking to get an "in" with the gang before eventually being Embraced in 1930. Of course, when the Ventrue Bobby Martin came to St. Louis in the 1940s with his connections to organized crime, the two Kindred began a long, deep and public rivalry that has simmered, but never boiled over into violence. Solly also served as the Clan Whip under Ezekiel Swagger from 1986 until 1998. He is also known as an outspoken defender of "Anarch Rights," and an equally open critic of some of the recent rulings of the powers of the city -- such as the dissolution of the Primogen Council and the decision to grant two Sabbat Kindred the protection of Elysium. Solomon in viewed as "loyal opposition" to the Prince and the powers in the city -- displeased and critical of certain decisions, but a solid supporter of the Prince and the Camarilla despite these differences. Solomon is Accepted, Acknowledged and Trustworthy; additionally is he viewed as a Sympathizer to the Anarch Cause and viewed with some respect by the Anarchs in the area. Solomon Epstein is played by Patrick Schoettmer.
William Hillary Parker: This Brujah has only recently come to St. Louis, coming to the Gateway City from Columbia, Missouri, where he had spent several years working with the local Camarilla there. Before residing in Columbia, William traveled throughout Europe with his Sire Josephine, who Embraced him during World War II and helped him write a number of articles about the atrocities of the War, under an assumed name. In Columbia, William was greatly involved with the Columbia Daily Tribune (but under a different name as well), and gained renown for his skills in preventing one or two unpleasant problems from becoming front-page news. It is not known exactly why he has come to St. Louis, but many people theorize that William simply grew tired of the "small town" life offered by Columbia, and came to St. Louis to seek out new opportunities. William Hillary Parker is currently Accepted and Admired. Ryan O'Grady plays William Hillary Parker.
The Gangrel:
Hicks: This Kindred, who's full name is Sanford Hicks (although everyone calls him Hicks), was a police officer in the St. Louis Police department in the late 1970s who was investigating organized crime. Unfortunately, the criminals Hicks was investigating figured out that he was watching them, and got the jump on Hicks instead. He was left for dead, but was ultimately Embraced by Edgar, a local Gangrel who had been observing Hicks for some time. Since then, Sanford has worked closely with the powers that be in St. Louis, and is known to be very close with Seneschal Valorian and Sheriff Fairbrooks and several of the more established Gangrel in the area. Additionally, when Xavier called for the Gangrel to formally leave the Camarilla, Hicks made it a point to publicly announce his decision to stay within the Camarilla. It is presumed that he is somehow exceptionally disfigured, as he is rarely seen without hat, scarves and other concealing clothing on. Further, during the dissolution of the Primogen Council, Hicks gained a small reputation as being one of the Gangrel in town that people looked up to, and has been named Gangrel Primogen now that the Council has reformed. Hicks is Accepted, Acknowledged, Adroit and Revered. Chris Barton plays Hicks.
Lionel Bradford: Lionel came to St. Louis in 2002, when he accepted a position at the Washington University teaching Classical and Religious Studies. Before then, he worked at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, teaching Comparative Religion. He was Embraced sometime in the 1980s, while traveling the world, collecting information about native folklore from around the world (on a grant funded by UBC) and has traveled extensively in Australia and Africa before returning to Vancouver. Lionel did not leave the Camarilla when the majority of the Gangrel left, and even worked closely with the Prince of Vancouver in 2000 in order to defeat a small gang of fae that had been bothering the city. Lionel served as the Greater Harpy of St. Louis for a brief period of time, having been put in that position by the newly-reformed Primogen Council, but removed from Office after several Primogen felt Lionel had not performed the duties of the Office to their standards. Lionel Bradford is Accepted, Acknowledged and Esteemed. Lionel Bradford is played by Dan Heyse.
Tyra Pelham: This Gangrel came to St. Louis only recently, having decided to rejoin the Camarilla after spending some time outside of the Sect, participating in the Anarch Cause after the Xavier withdrew the Gangrel from the Camarilla. Tyra made a minor reputation for herself as an eco-terrorist, and worked with several groups to actively stop the atrocities of man both in her mortal life and Kindred existence. She has traveled throughout Canada and the United States working with her fellow activities, but has decided to settle down in St. Louis for now. Although she never officially joined the Anarchs, Tyra is still not considered to be a full member of the Camarilla as of yet; she is Accepted and Acknowledged (but her overall Status is viewed as lower, due to her having the Probationary Sect Member Flaw). Despite this, she has been named Whip of her Clan. Tracey Sprague plays Tyra Pelham.
The Malkavians:
Casper: This Malkavian has only recently arrived in St. Louis, having come here from Las Vegas, Nevada. It is known that he was the Childe of Charles Carson, the Malkavian Primogen out in Las Vegas, but little else about Casper's past is known, as he has not discussed his past in any depth with the few Kindred who have talked with him. Casper is Accepted and Acknowledged (and also has the Prestigious Sire Merit, affecting his overall perceived Status). There is some confusion as to whether he holds an office or not -- he was believed by some to be the Whip of his Clan, but might not have been officially made such by his Primogen; it is expected that this matter will be resolved soon. Shaun Archer plays Casper.
Douglas Mortimer: Douglas was an up and coming Assistant District Attorney for St. Louis County when his paths crossed with a member of organized crime and the Camarilla. In October of 2004, Douglas was attacked as part of a mob hit to prevent him from prosecuting a particular criminal he had been aggressively pursuing. Left for dead by his assailants, he was rescued by Myrtle Tannendrew, a Malkavian who had been watching him for some time and contemplating Embracing him. Under Myrtle's guidance, Douglas recovered from the assault, resumed his role as a prosecutor for the city (albeit in St. Louis' only night court) and has been slowly integrating himself into the Camarilla. Unfortunately, Myrtle recently became disenchanted with her Childe, and has left St. Louis for New York City, having first released Douglas from her responsibility. Douglas has become close with the Keeper of Elysium, and was named as an Assistant Keeper. Harpy Knight also has named him as a Lesser Harpy after Knight was elevated to that Office. Additionally, it was supposed that Douglas briefly held a position as the "official liaison" between the Camarilla and Anarchs in the area, but outside of a brief mention of such a position possibly existing, nothing further about this office was ever referred to by the Prince, the Seneschals or even the Anarchs. Douglas Mortimer is Accepted and Acknowledged. Douglas Mortimer is played by Brook Cavell.
Edie: This Malkavian has only been in St. Louis since January 15th, 2005, when she was delivered to the Keeper in a sealed crate, in Torpor. She was awoken by the Keeper, and it was quickly determined that she was not familiar with modern times. Edie is currently being brought up to date by several of the Kindred of St. Louis, and considered a guest of Prince Robertson. Edie has not discussed her past at any length with anyone in St. Louis. Edie is Accepted; she is also an NPC played occasionally by Jenny Latham.
Evelein Aislin: Evelein has only recently arrived in St. Louis, and not much is known about her past. It is known that she was Embraced in the early 1980s and that she has traveled across the country, wandering for some reason known only to her, but that is all that is publicly known about Evelein. Despite the fact that little is known about her, she has recently been made Primogen of her Clan. Evelein is Acknowledged, Accepted and Revered. Rebecca O'Brien plays Evelein.
James Gawain Bedavere: The Keeper of Elysium since 1972, this Malkavian was first seen in St. Louis in 1889. It is not known whom his sire was, but Bedavere quickly assumed the quiet life of a Kindred neonate after his introduction to Kindred society. In 1905, Bedavere was attacked by a mortal just outside of one of the city's Elysiums, sent into torpor and essentially forgotten about until 1955, when the Malkavian Primogen at the time remembered that Bedavere was still in the city and woke him up. Bedavere quietly resumed his place in St. Louis' Kindred society until 1972, when Prince Robertson made him Keeper of Elysium after a particularly engaging altercation between Bedavere and another Brujah. Bedavere had been unofficially serving as Keeper between 1955 and 1972, arranging parties and gatherings of the Kindred; he just was not given that particular office until 1972. Since then, Bedavere has served the city as the Keeper, doing what he can to ensure the safety and sanctity of the Elysia of St. Louis. James Gawain Bedavere is Accepted, Acknowledged, Feared and Honorable. Greg Walters plays Keeper Bedavere.
Kristopher Strauss: This scholar was Embraced early in the 16th Century by a Malkavian who was interested in Kristopher's knowledge and mental skills. He quickly developed a reputation as a valued scholar of Kindred history, and he and his Sire spent almost two centuries compiling a library of Cainite lores. Kristopher's studies brought him to America in 1770, where he settled down in the New England area and helping the Camarilla there out in a variety of ways, instructing them on their esteemed past and heritage. Eventually growing more and more distraught with the Kindred he encountered in America, Strauss decided to only deal with other Kindred in neutral areas, such as the Elysiums of the various cities he was in. In 1904, Strauss came to St. Louis with his sole ghoul, Johan Liebert Von Wiennen. Although he originally came to St. Louis solely for the World's Fair, Strauss liked the area so much he decided to make his permanent residence here. Stauss only rarely came to Kindred gatherings, preferring instead to have his ghoul handle all of his public dealings. In fact, the last time he was publicly seen was in 1905, when Shannon Robertson became Prince. Since then, Strauss has remained in his haven, preferring to have Johan be his public face. The only major incident involving Kristopher was when a Brujah announced that he was going to visit Strauss in his haven, despite Johan's attempts to persuade him to do otherwise. The Brujah was found a week after his announcement, his mind totally destroyed -- and few people have attempted to deal with Strauss directly since, funneling everything through Johan instead. Kristopher Strauss is Accepted, Acknowledged and Knowledgeable; he had more Status once, but has neglected most of his duties except for learning, and subsequently is not held in as much esteem as he once was. Kristopher Strauss is a NPC who will, presumably, remain in the background of the city and not need to be played by anyone in particular.
Maliki: The Malkavian known only as Maliki was originally a doctor in the small town of Bland, Missouri, until the fateful night when an injured man entered his office and changed his life forever by Embracing him. Maliki spent a great deal of time with his Sire, Gavin MacKiernan, learning about the Camarilla and Kindred in general; eventually, Maliki decided to work on creating some sort of "blood substitute" that would make feeding a much safer process for most Kindred. To that end, Maliki realized he needed the resources of a bigger city, and has recently come to St. Louis to set up labs and begin production of various faux vitae solutions in an effort to find the perfect duplicate of human blood. Maliki is Accepted, Admired, Respected and Well-Known. Maliki is played by Jeff Lewis.
The Nosferatu:
Azrael Knight: This scholarly Nosferatu came to St. Louis in the 1950s, when he decided to settle down in a "quiet city" to organize the notes he had taken after many years of travel throughout Europe and America, searching out information on a variety of mystical and religious phenomenon. It is known that he was a priest once, and has connections with the Church in the city. He is also an avid chess player, and frequently plays games against Hans Jensen of the Sabbat when in Elysium. Some people claim that there is something slightly unsettling about Azrael, some sort of presence to him that disquiets him, but no one has been able to determine what this is or why it only accepts certain people. While he briefly served as a Lesser Harpy under Lionel Bradford, he has since been elevated to the position of Greater Harpy when the Primogen Council decided that Bradford had not performed the duties of that Office to their standards. Azrael Knight (sometimes referred to as "Father Knight") is Accepted, Acknowledged, Influential and Trustworthy. Azrael Knight is played by Joshua Wong.
Clementine Jackson: Little is publicly known about this Nosferatu who has only recently come to St. Louis. It is known that he is a relatively young Nosferatu, perhaps Embraced within the last ten years at most, but it is not widely known where he resided before coming to town. Clementine (sometimes called Clem for short) has not spoken with many people outside of the Nosferatu Clan. Clementine is Accepted and Acknowledged, and is played by Richard Levitski.
Mary Aphra: No one is entirely certain when this Nosferatu came to St. Louis; in fact, many people have joked that she was in the area before Laclčde came to set up an outpost and create the city of St. Louis. It is known, however, that she is a staunch member of the Camarilla, and served as Primogen under both Prince de la Courcel and Prince Robertson until the Primogen Council was dissolved in 1998. Further, it is believed that she has some connections to one or two universities in the area, although it is not known which particular universities Mary is involved with. Now that the Council has reformed, the Nosferatu have asked Mary to resume her position as Nosferatu Primogen. Additionally, Mary has become quite involved with the various negotiations between the Camarilla and Anarchs that recent began, and is viewed as one of the Camarilla that the majority of the Anarchs seem to trust. Mary Aphra is Accepted, Acknowledged, Revered, Respected and Well-Connected. Mary Aphra is played by Laurie Rich.
Mouse: Although no one has officially seen this Nosferatu in many years, he does still manage to attend most gatherings of the Kindred of St. Louis -- albeit in the form of an animal that he controls. Mouse presented himself to the Seneschal back in 1986, presumably having come to town from elsewhere. Mouse has never really discussed his past life before 1986 with anyone -- really, Mouse has not discussed much of anything with anyone, really. It is known that Mouse deals in information at times, provided that people can find the right animal that Mouse's spirit is residing in that day. Mouse is Accepted and Acknowledged; Mouse is also an NPC played occasionally by Andy Lloyd.
Muzzle: Muzzle has been a longtime companion of the Nosferatu known as Pa, and is believed by many to be Pa's Childe. He lived with Pa in New Orleans up until 1842, when the two Nosferatu began wandering throughout the South, helping out the Camarilla in various cities. The two Kindred never remained in one place very long, and they have only come to St. Louis recently. Still, in his scant days in St. Louis, Muzzle has gained the notice of a number of members of the Camarilla and the Anarchs; in fact, the Anarchs attempted to grant Muzzle some Reputation at one point, which he had to decline. Muzzle has not spoken about his (or Pa's) past before coming to town. Muzzle is Accepted, Acknowledged and Feared; Muzzle is played by Keith Perkins.
Pa: This Nosferatu has only recently arrived in St. Louis, having wandered across most of America before coming to town. It is known that he first arrived on American shores in the late 1700s, and spent a long period of time in New Orleans with his fellow Nosferatu known as Muzzle. Pa and Muzzle left New Orleans in 1842, and began their wandering, helping out the Camarilla as needed, wandering from city to city. Pa was even supposedly a Primogen in a city down South, although he only stayed for a brief period of
time before moving on. Like Muzzle, Pa has grown close to several of the Anarchs in town, and was offered Reputation at one point -- but had to decline. Pa has even been named the Whip for the Nosferatu Clan. Pa is Accepted, Acknowledged, Cherished, Feared, Respected and Trustworthy. Pa is played by Chris Clein.
The Toreador:
Kenneth Lyons: This Toreador has only recently come to St. Louis, apparently as a service to his sire, Sir Humphrey Dunham of England. Sir Dunham is known among many Kindred as a dealer in antiquities and fine art, and Kenneth frequently assists him in his work and has served him faithfully for over a century. It is not entirely certain why Kenneth has come to St. Louis at this time; it is known that he delivered a message to be given to Prince Robertson after his arrival, but the content of that message has not been spread. Kenneth Lyon also has a minor reputation as a wood craftsman as well as an art appraiser. Kenneth is Accepted, Acknowledged, Dependable and Trustworthy (and has the Prestigious Sire Merit, affecting his overall perceived Status). Kenneth is also an NPC played occasionally by Robert Warehall.
Mikhael Romanov: This Russian Toreador only came to St. Louis very recently, and did his best to keep to himself and not get too involved in much of the activities of the city, even going so far as to not reveal what his particular Art was. It eventually became known that Mikhael was merely Acknowledged to reside within St. Louis, and that he had not been formally Accepted as a member of the Camarilla. After a brief period of investigation, it was revealed that Romanov was actually a member of the Sabbat who had somehow "defected" from that sect and was seeking escape within the city. After a very public and bloody chastisement by Sheriff Fairbrooks for lying to her about his past, Mikhael has been officially made a member of the Camarilla. Although Mikhael is Accepted and Acknowledged now, he is also viewed as a Probationary Sect Member (and therefore is viewed as having a lower overall Status, per the Flaw). It is unknown at this time how the two Sabbat trapped within the city are viewing Romanov's defection. Stephen Witham plays Mikhael Romanov.
Michael Szabo: Michael first came to St. Louis in 1992, and quickly settled himself into the Camarilla here, even becoming the Toreador Primogen before the Primogen Council was dissolved in 1998. Before coming to St. Louis, Szabo was a member of the well-known rock band Blackwood, which fronted for some luminaries as the Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones during the late 1960s and 1970s. Michael even owned a recording studio in Los Angeles and had a minor solo career before being Embraced; but he presumably left those behind when he came to St. Louis, as he has not been involved with the music industry since his arrive -- although it is known that he has some minor connections to the aerospace industries in town. As the former Primogen for the Toreador, he has resumed his position of power now that the Primogen Council has reformed. He also serves as one of Sheriff Fairbrook's few official Deputies. Michael Szabo is Accepted, Acknowledged, Revered, Well-Connected and Well-Known. Jeff Nemeth plays Michael Szabo.
Willamina Fairbrooks: Willamina Fairbrooks was Embraced in London in mid-Nineteenth Century, and made a minor reputation for herself among the Camarilla there for her exquisite harp-playing performances at select Kindred gatherings. She was also relatively wealthy, having inherited a minor fortune from her father, a minor, but obscure, nobleman of the British Empire. Willamina came to America in 1924, investigating several new types of music that she had heard in London that had originated in this country -- mainly jazz and the blues. She traveled mostly in cities such as New York, Memphis and Chicago, searching out the birth of this music, but as the history of the Blues also includes St. Louis, she came to the city in 1929 -- just in time to lose her fortune due to the Great Depression. Willamina decided to restart her life in St. Louis, making it her permanent home. Due to the fact that there were few Kindred in the city at that time, Willamina quickly became close friends with a number of important people, including Prince Robertson. Willamina occasionally gave Robertson some advice on problems plaguing the Prince, and after the successful implementation of some of her ideas, the Prince rewarded Willamina by naming her Sheriff in 1965. As Sheriff, Willamina has done her best to ensure that the few laws of the Kindred in St. Louis are applied fairly and justly -- although she is also a strong advocate of the concept of "one warning," and essentially assumes that if people break the law twice, they are unrepentant and are in need of major punishment (and that the person's Primogen might need a reminder about the laws as well). Sheriff Fairbrooks is Accepted, Acknowledged, Dedicated, Feared, Praised and Trustworthy. She is also viewed as a Sympathizer to the Anarch Cause and viewed with some respect by the Anarchs in the area. Katie Cavell plays Willamina Fairbrooks.
Vadim: This Toreador has only recently moved to St. Louis; before then, Vadim traveled throughout the country under a variety of aliases, spending time in New York City and New Orleans, among other places. He has always been involved with music in one way or another -- either performing and singing, or even just owing a small guitar shop and giving lessons. In the mid-1990s, Vadim formed a band known as "Darkest Dreams;" the band became a minor hit among Goth circles, scored a number one song (but it was only on the charts for two weeks) and even were nominated for a Grammy in 2003 (although they did not win). Before coming to St. Louis, Vadum publicly quit Darkest Dreams; since arriving in St. Louis he has opened a nightclub called "The Arch Diocese" (located in a de-sanctified church) and begun working on a new band with Silas George of the Gangrel and Sheryl Daniels of the Ventrue. The new band -- "Grave Whispers" -- released an EP of six songs and was working on more material; it is unknown how Sheryl Daniel's departure from St. Louis will affect the band. Vadim is Accepted and Acknowledged. Rodney Gilmer plays Vadim.
The Tremere:
Benjamin Wilcox: Benjamin Wilcox came to St. Louis in the early 1960s, having been sent here by the Tremere Clan. It is known that he has a position of some power within the Tremere Clan, but the exact position and its duties are not known to those outside of the Clan. Although Benjamin has not spoken much of his past before coming to St. Louis, it is believed that he was Embraced around the end of the Civil War, and spent some time in other cities in America, learning under other Tremere, before coming to the city. He is usually seen as cool-natured and level-headed, and does his best to instill similar virtues in the other Tremere in town, urging them to thought and careful actions when necessary, instead of lashing out with Thaumaturgy or rash deeds. Wilcox is Accepted, Acknowledged, Admired, Knowledgeable, Praised and Respected. Jake McLeod plays Benjamin Wilcox.
Eric Reinhard: Eric Reinhard was recently sent to St. Louis from the main Tremere Chantry in Vienna, Austria. He arrived in St. Louis only a few months ago, and not many people outside of the Tremere really know anything about his background -- and Reinhard has not talked about his past to non-Tremere. However, it is believed that he was only Embraced within the last ten years and was a member of the "idle rich" back in Europe -- but the truth of these beliefs are not known. Eric Reinhard is Accepted and Acknowledged. Eric Reinhard is played by Mark Wise.
Ethan Takatoka: This blind Tremere was originally a ghoul to a Tremere who lived in St. Louis in the 1820s known only as Rebecca, who has since left the St. Louis area herself. He was sent to Vienna in 1880, where he was Embraced and trained in the ways of the Tremere -- and given a guide dog. In 1890, Ethan was sent to the Chantry in Paris, France, where he became known as a researcher into various forms of shamanism and shamanistic magic. He was then sent to Boston in 1920 and taught Native American culture and history in a small class at a small university there while assisting the Chantry. He returned to St. Louis in 1950, and quickly became involved with several occult groups here in addition to gaining a position lecturing on Native American studies at a local college. It is known that he is fascinated with the Gateway Arch, and spends a good amount of his free time there, wandering around with his guide dog and exploring the area. Ethan Takatoka is Accepted, Acknowledged, Admired and Knowledgeable. DJ Imlach plays Ethan Takatoka.
Gordon Pritchard: This Tremere has only recently come to St. Louis, having been sent here by the Clan. He has spent time serving the Clan in both New York City and Vienna before coming to St. Louis, although it is believed that St. Louis is his first real "assignment" from the Clan. Not many people outside of the Tremere know much about him, and neither Pritchard himself or the members of the Tremere Clan have offered much additional information about this new arrival to the city. Gordon Pritchard is Accepted and played by Aaron Marx.
Marcus: Marcus came to St. Louis in January of 2002, having spent most of his existence traveling throughout Europe at the request of the Tremere Clan, serving in such areas as Germany, France, Yugoslavia, Turkey and Russia; he even served in Cuba shortly before the Spanish-American war. It is known that he is a scholar of sorts, but little else is openly known about him, as he has not discussed his past with people outside of the Tremere Clan. Marcus is Accepted and Acknowledged. Marcus is played by Scott Withington.
Maxim Albrecht: Maxim came to St. Louis in 1998, shortly after the times known as the Week of Nightmares ended. It is known that he is an Elder of the Clan, and has spent much of his left traveling throughout Europe and the United States, primarily serving the Clan as an investigator of sorts, helping the Clan out whenever needed -- albeit sometimes reluctantly. He spends a great deal of his time in St. Louis at the various Elysiums, and is one of the more social Tremere in the city. His fellow Tremere have selected him to serve as the Primogen for the Clan now that the Primogen Council has reconvened with the Prince's blessings. Albrecht is Accepted, Acknowledged, Adroit, Relentless, Revered and Steadfast. Maxim Albrecht is played by Greg Heaney.
Pierre Lyon: This Tremere came to St. Louis in the early 1970s, coming here from New Orleans. Before that, he spent almost a century in Europe -- having been Embraced in England -- traveling through the country and assisting the Tremere whenever and however he could. It is believed that he has a few minor connections to businesses within St. Louis, but not much else is openly known about him, as Pierre has few contacts with Kindred outside of the Clan. Pierre is Accepted and Acknowledged, and is played by Aren Arendsen.
Ted Reynolds: This young Tremere came to St. Louis back in 1954, sent here by the Tremere in order to assist the Clan in whatever way he could. He is relatively friendly and outgoing, often seen at various Elysiums around the city, talking with all the Kindred he can -- not just those of his Clan. It is known that he is interested in science and linguistics, and has a few minor contacts within the worlds of the occult and several universities in the city. He is also a scholar of sorts, and is currently writing a book on Linguistic D-Structure Theory and the Kabbalah. He briefly served as a Lesser Harpy of St. Louis, but resigned from that position when Lionel Bradford was removed from power as the Greater Harpy. Ted Reynolds is Accepted, Acknowledged and Knowledgeable. Ted Reynolds is played by Jon Krieger.
The Ventrue:
Bobby Martin: This Ventrue first came to St. Louis in the 1940s, and is believed to have connections to the underworld elements that came to the city around that time. Martin, when asked, stresses that he is a businessman, although it is known that he frequently receives funds from Las Vegas, which presumably he launders somehow. Bobby is also known for his quarterly high-stakes poker games that he holds, and an invitation to the game is viewed as a honor of sorts for the Cainites in St. Louis. Bobby Martin is Accepted, Acknowledged and Well-Connected; Bobby is an NPC occasionally played by Matt Latham.
Isaiah White: This Ventrue, who has recently arrived in St. Louis, originally hails from London, where he was Embraced around the beginning of the 18th Century. He came over to America before the Revolution, and it is known that he sided with the American insurgents who were fighting off the British at the time. Since then, he has traveled around the United States, working to serve the best interests of the Ventrue Clan first, and local politics and business in general second. He was most recently in New York City, helping the Camarilla stabilize matters there after the formal taking of that city from the Sabbat (and, presumably, some of the chaos and confusion caused by 9/11). He is Accepted, Dedicated, Honorable, Respected and Trustworthy. Eric Stark plays Isaiah White.
Julian Harcourt: Harcourt came to St. Louis back in 1845, and started almost immediately to acquire a power base for himself, working to open a bank, purchase a farm equipment manufacturing company and even getting involved somewhat in politics. He was one of Prince de la Courcel's supporters when Nikolai Dušan attempted to coup the Princedom in 1868, and grew close to the Prince during that time. In 1892, the Ventrue Primogen at that time decided to leave town after a series of business failures wiped him out; shortly after the old Primogen's departure, Harcourt was named as the new Ventrue Primogen -- primarily due to his close friendship with the Prince. Julian Harcourt lost a good portion of his fortune (and influence within the city) during the Great Depression, although he still remained the Ventrue Primogen and managed to rebuild a significant portion of his previous holdings during the 1940s and 1950s. It is known that he was not particularly fond of Prince Robertson's decisions to allow the Anarchs and Sabbat within the city, and he was very disturbed by the dissolution of the Primogen Council that he had served on for over a century and was a quite vocal dissenter from the decision to accept the Prince's judgment on that issue. It should be pointed out that although Harcourt disagreed with the Prince on several occasions, his disagreement has been limited to the level of words and passionate arguments -- he has not called for Robertson to step down or anything like that. With the reformation of the Primogen Council, Julian has resumed his role as Ventrue Primogen; it is not know if this will tempter his public disapproval of some of Prince Robertson's recent decisions. Julian Harcourt is Accepted, Acknowledged, Influential, Revered and Trustworthy. Eric Sprague plays Julian Harcourt.
Laurence M. Walker: This Ventrue arrived in St. Louis in 2000, having come here from Kansas City, where he had been Embraced by Franklin G. Burchowitz, the Ventrue Primogen there. Before his Embrace, Laurence had been involved with a number of dot-com businesses and worked periodically as a consultant to start-up companies that needed to acquire venture capital. It is also known that Walker made a minor fortune working the stock market during his mortal existence, but since then his finances have declined slightly -- and large donations to charities after 9/11 and various tsunami relief agencies have only caused further losses in his wealth. Still, Laurence does have a reputation for being able to generate money when needed, and it one of the more forward-thinking members of the Clan. Laurence Walker is Accepted and Acknowledged (and also has the Prestigious Sire Merit, affecting his overall perceived Status). Jay McLeod plays Laurence M. Walker.
PJ Slaughter: PJ (short for Paulette Julia, although virtually no one calls her that) came to St. Louis in 1958, having come here from Washington, DC, where she was a clerk with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (although her contacts with that august agency have since faded). She quickly settled down in St. Louis and began working with a number of financial and legal firms and has even opened a few small businesses, but for the most part was a relatively "quiet" Kindred, viewed mainly as a member of the Ventrue rank and file by those outside the Clan. It is known that she developed a close friendship with the Nosferatu Azrael Knight, whom she periodically discusses political and religious events with. PJ Slaughter is Accepted and Acknowledged. Laura Loken plays PJ Slaughter.
Tatiana: This Ventrue was originally Embraced in Chicago, but came to St. Louis around 1987 when she realized that there was no way for a Ventrue to "move up" in the world within that heavily-stratified city. She was known as a minor "bookworm" with Chicago, and was someone that Kindred would turn to in order to find out information on a variety of subjects. It is known that Tatiana has some minor connections within the aerospace industry in St. Louis, and it is rumored that she was somehow involved in bringing Boeing into the city in 1997 -- although it is not known how she did this, or if she was truly involved in the deal. For the most part, Tatiana is soft-spoken, and although she does socialize with other Kindred, she has not publicly revealed much of her past. Tatiana is Accepted, Acknowledged and Knowledgeable, and has been named to serve as the Ventrue's Whip. Tatiana is played by Nicole Keyes.
Vincent Valorian: The Seneschal of St. Louis since 1968, Vincent came to St. Louis from Boston in 1939. He managed to be in the right place at the right time in 1941, and was one of the Kindred involved in helping the city ramp up production for World War II, thus managing to get himself a small piece of influence within the city. When Vincent managed to use that influence in the 1960s to start a number of re-building projects in St. Louis that had failed to begin in the 1940s and 1950s (even with having Prince Robertson backing them and manipulating local politicians to get them accomplished), Prince Robertson took notice of this Ventrue. After Valorian was able to get a number of civic projects started that the Prince had failed to get off the ground, Prince Robertson named Vincent the Seneschal of St. Louis in recognition of the Ventrue's ability to "get things done, and done well." As time passed, the Prince gave Valorian more and more power within the city, granting him a variety of powers that were normally reserved for the Prince alone -- such as the right to Acknowledge Kindred within St. Louis and formally Accept Kindred into the Camarilla. In 1981, Prince Robertson, formally recognizing Seneschal Valorian's efficiency and administrative skills, turned over the handling of "mundane, night to night" matters to Seneschal Valorian. It is known that Seneschal Valorian is a hard-working administrator who values efficiency and preparedness; he is friendly to all within St. Louis and is quick to offer his advice or aid to those people who request it -- or desperately need it. He is a stern administrator as well, and his compassion will sometimes end abruptly if significant problems reach him -- simply because he will try to take care of matters as swiftly as possible to avoiding Prince Robertson having to get involved. Seneschal Valorian is Accepted, Acknowledged, Cherished, Esteemed, Influential, Respected and Trustworthy. Philip Tchou plays Vincent Valorian.
