Metamorphoses: St. Louis

The Anarch Vampires of the City

In the past, there were more Anarchs in the St. Louis area. Unfortunately, the ravages of time have played upon them, and thanks to the combination of boredom, careless mistakes and other reasons, the amount of Anarchs in East St. Louis has declined somewhat. Where there once may have been a Barony or two, there is now just a loose collection of aligned Anarchs, banding together, following the Status Perfectus and generally but existing.

Of course, over time, the situation might change and there might be more Anarchs or even a Baron again, but for now - the Anarchs in East St. Louis just are, and that is enough for most of them....

Dirk Peabody: Little is known about this particular Caitiff as he keeps to himself and only deals with other Anarchs in East St. Louis infrequently for the most part. Still, he does attend public gatherings and is willing to talk to people about things happening in the area; it's just that Dirk is relatively closemouthed about himself and what's happening in his life. Dirk Peabody came to the St. Louis area around 2001. He is a Committed Anarch and is Acknowledged by the Camarilla here. Dirk is played by Darren Player.

John Trent: It is not known how long this Toreador has been a member of the Anarch Movement, although he does often give the impression of having been involved with the Cause for quite some time -- possibly even decades or centuries, although he has never substantiated or invalidated those rumors. It is known that he is an exceptionally skilled tattoo artist, laying down ink in ways that beguile other members of the Clan of the Rose (as well as other people who admire them). Trent is sometimes gruff and curt with others -- especially trend-following mortals coming to him for his designs -- but is known to be "not a bad guy, once you get to know him." Trent was one of the three Anarchs who brokered an arrangement with Prince Robertson back in 1996 to allow the Anarchs to remain in the area. John Trent is a Committed Anarch, and is also known as a Preacher of the Cause, a True Believer in it, a Veteran of the Revolution and is Well-Known among Anarchs. He is also Acknowledged by the Camarilla in St. Louis. John Trent is played by Jim Bechtel.

John Van De: Very little is widely known about this Caitiff who recently arrived in the St. Louis area; it is not know where he was before he came to the neighborhood, it is not known why he has come to this region, nor is it even known if he is really an Anarch. John Van De has not offered up any information about his past or what sect he is affiliated with, but he has only been seen in the presence of Anarchs since his arrival in the area; almost no members of the Camarilla have met with him. John Van De's Reputation is unknown; he is played by Peter Fras.

S. Carey Roah: Doctor Roah has been a member of the Anarch Movement for a little over a decade, and little of his past before joining the Anarchs is known. It is known that he does have a doctorate in psychology from a respected university before becoming a Kindred, but little else is widely known about his life before the Embrace. Since joining the Anarchs, Doctor Roah has acquired a reputation as being a negotiator of sorts, doing what he can to settle disputes and conflicts within the Anarchs -- at any cost, even if it involves getting his hands dirty. S. Carey Roah is a Committed member of the Cause, and is also viewed as Feared x2 and Respected by his fellow Anarchs. Doctor Roah has also been Acknowledged by the Camarilla of St. Louis. S. Carey Roah is played by Andy Robinson.

Silas George: Silas has been coming and going within St. Louis ever since he was Embraced around the turn of the 20th Century. He would frequently wander out in the wilderness at times, and essentially would only stay in the city for a few weeks out of the year at best. He was relatively close with James Gawain Bedaver back in the day, even "unofficially" worked as an Assistant Keeper once or twice to help preserve the peace at Elysiums within the city. He began spending more and more time in the city back in 1996, when the Anarchs were officially allowed to reside within the city. In 1999, he assisted Keeper Bedaver in fighting the three Anarchs who attempted to destroy the Sabbat who claimed sanctuary within the Harrisburg Showcase Elysium; he was stayed within the city full time since then. While he was once close to the Keeper and other members of the Camarilla, he has since officially rejected the Camarilla and renounced all ties to any sect. At this time, he his widely viewed as a honorary member of the Anarchs and is believed to be very close to them, although Silas has not formally joined with the Anarchs. At the present, Silas holds no Status, but is Acknowledged within St. Louis. Mike Weaver plays Silas George.

Sheryl Daniels: This Ventrue came to St. Louis back in 2003, having come here from Boston, supposedly sent here by her sire for a variety of reasons. She had opened up a record store, Euclid Records, shortly after her arrival, and the store also served as a small club and performance space for local bands. Sheryl had been working on forming a small band with Vadim of the Toreador and Silas George of the Gangrel, but the band never really crystallized and came together before Sheryl left town following a minor scandal between herself and Lionel Bradford of the Gangrel. It seems that both Sheryl and Lionel were interested in becoming the Greater Harpy of St. Louis and that an offer Sheryl made to Lionel backfired, becoming potentially scandalous. Sheryl returned to St. Louis in May of 2005, after spending some time back in Boston with her sire. Since her return, Sheryl has renounced her ties to the Camarilla, and is widely believed to have joined the Anarchs, although she has not Committed to the sect. Sheryl Daniels is Acknowledged, and is played by Amy Weaver.

Shiv: Shiv came to East St. Louis back in 2000 and has steadfastly refused to discuss his past before arriving in town. He has gained a minor reputation as being one of the more Camarilla-friendly Anarchs in town, and is frequently a visitor to St. Louis' Elysiums. This Caitiff is generally viewed as level-headed, forthright and one of the more "low-key" Anarchs in the area. Shiv is Committed to the Cause and Acknowledged by the Camarilla. Shiv is played by Aaron Brumbaugh.
