Alas, there will not be another session. The Chicago Reborn LARP has ended. However, the majority of the Storytellers from this game are now running another LARP; check out the page for that game for more information. The site will remain up for memory's sake, but will not likely be updated again, aside of this update to write the last chapter of the history of the game. We'd like to thank all the people who have played in Chicago Reborn over the past two years and nine months; without you there couldn't have been a game. If you have any questions about the ending of the game or just questions about things in general that never got answered to your satisfaction, please feel free to contact us. Thank you once again, and we hope to see you in St. Louis!

Hello and welcome to the homepage of Chicago Reborn, a free-form ongoing LARP which, while being played in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is set in a modified version of Chicago from White Wolf's World of Darkness setting. This game is focusing on the ideas of hope, renewal, rebuilding and is filled with politics, intrigue, conspiracy, plotting and a little violence. (Just be aware that the Storyteller's aren't interested in running a combat-heavy game, and are trying to emphasize role-playing and character interaction.)
In any case, Chicago Reborn is set in a Chicago that was wracked by the struggles between two Methuselahs and the Sabbat who invaded after the Methuselahs awoke and fought their final battle. The city was liberated from the Sabbat by the Camarilla, a mere month after the Sabbat took it in the first place. The Camarilla then began the process of settling down and rebuilding the city, but it appears that the plans of the Camarilla might be soon upset, thanks to the actions of a few of the Chicago Kindred. You can read more about what has been going on in the History of Chicago section of the site; see what's going on, what's what, and why some people think that the city might be in jeopardy....
Please Note: At this time, we are not accepting new characters for the LARP. However, there might come a time in the near future in which we will be accepting new characters, therefore we are still suggesting that people who might be interested in playing check out our Character Generation Rules and our House Rules, as there are some important changes between the Laws of the Night: Revised and our rules. (As always, please be aware that our Character Generation rules and our House Rules assume you have some knowledge of the rules from White Wolf's Laws of the Night: Revised and possibly the Camarilla Guide or Sabbat Guide.)
Also, even though we are not accepting new players at this time, we do recommend that all potential players (and even some of the current players) take a look at the various Clan Pages and History of Chicago section, just to see what's going on in our version of Chicago (after all, our version of Chicago radically differs from the "official" White Wolf World of Darkness version of the Windy City).
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact the storyellers, and we'll do our best to help you out!
In the mean time, feel free to roam around these pages, explore and find out about our game. See you all at the games!
PS: I used some funky fonts on this page that not everyone might have. So, in the interest of fairness (and so you can see the page how I wanted it to look), you can click here to download a zip file containing these fonts! Please do so, and you can enjoy these pages, in all of it's glory! Neat, eh?
Hey folks! We've got a email mailing list for this game, powered by Yahoo! Groups. You can sign up for the list below; please do so, okay? Please note that you cannot view the archives unless you're a member of the list.
This game uses the Grapevine LARP Administration Utility program, by Adam Cerling, by the way.
