Gardening
Well, we have quite a wild yard. The woman who owned our house two
owners ago was really into gardning and planted EVERYTHING. We've been spending
most of our time figuring out what not to keep. It is a slow process because everything
is beautiful (except the poison ivy, milk weed, and golden rod).
There are some links that you might find helpful in your own garden.
Weekend Gardener is a great place to get
information.
The Gardening Launch Pad is a good place to go to find lots
of links. It is what it says it is - The Gardening Launch Pad.
Organic Gardening is a magazine on organic gardening. We put
too many chemicals into the ground already, and they don't really help in the long run. Additionally, the chemicals do more
damage to the wildlife (at not so wild, like your dog and cat) that organic gardening is really the way to go.
Gardens Alive! is a mail order (or internet order) store for organic products. Check them
out for alternatives to chemical treatment.
Farmer Brown's Garden Path is a site that I found one day just internet surfing. I think I like
the name more than anything. But check it out for good informaiton.
