All Day Basketball Festival Open to All Levels

Supporting ALS Research

 

 

Dear Basketball Enthusiasts,

Please join us for the Third Annual Ernie Wallengren Hoopfest.  We've enjoyed the first two years of what is becoming a fabulous tradition.  We've had fun and the good fortune of raising over $36,000 for ALS Research.  Please join us this year.  You can help by playing hoops.

Tournament features:

• Charity basketball tournament to raise funds for ALS research 
• All teams guaranteed a minimum of 3 games against similar competition.  Skill levels of all kinds from beginner to competitive.
• Team captained by KOST 103.5 DJ Mark Wallengren of the Mark and Kim Show
• Games officiated by local referees from the Conejo and San Fernando Valleys
• Entry fee is $50 per player
• Teams comprised of 5-8 players.  Sign up as a single or enter a team
• A minimum of 7 to 8 players is encouraged since substitution is often required due to the continuous running clock (32-minute games).
• Alumni basketball players from Calabasas high school, local high school teams (except CHS), competitive and recreational teams from local businesses, local club teams, teams with women, men, adults, children, and mixed teams

Waivers must be signed by all participants.  Obtain waivers online

 

 

The tournament is organized to bring together those who love the game of basketball to share in a competitive, recreational, and social event while raising funds for ALS research.  It is open to the public and to all ages and skills.
