One Fat Factory!
Have you ever seen a fat factory? Yeah, me neither.
Sometime in May, or maybe April or June or July or something, six very fat photographers, led by Kelly "Panda" Bone (or Belly Kone, depending on what language you speak or how close to lunch it is), took a fieldtrip to one very rusty abandoned factory.
It was neat.
We all had cameras. We all took pictures. Apparently some of those pictures were good enough to win certain *special* people (read: losers, or PEOPLE I HATE) lucrative job offers and fabulous photographic opportunities. Whatever.
The rest of us, or Fatty and Liana, anyway, just took these lame pictures. Enjoy them. Or not. See if I care. Because I don't.
Liana took some very cool fotos (esp considering she was using a nearly broken point-and-shoot) of a nearby silo. I think it's a silo. It's big and round and rusty. Maybe it's a water tower? A warehouse? A big round rusty building? That's it's official name: "Big Round Rusty Building" (BRRB, or Be Right Right Back, in Web-geek parlance).
Inside the factory the walls and machinery were splattered with red and yellow and green and blue and all sorts of other shades of paint.
(Whoa, I just got a really weird flashback to a paint/wallpaper store at the mall, and then that led me to another flashback to the wallpaper store near the Melody theater. They were both eerie places when I was a kid _ all those color and wallpaper options were too much for me, maybe. Even today I get baffled by too many design choices. Blue walls or white walls? Yellow or green curtains? Just tell me the right answer, damnit!!! OK, I need to stop thinking now.)
Anyway, apparently Liana and I didn't get any pictures from inside. I have no idea why. I think maybe I have some pictures, but they're black and white and the roll of undeveloped film is sitting at my desk at work right now. I'm so lazy. It's been months and I can't even be bothered to develop a roll of film.
So instead we've got lots of fotos from *not* inside this really cool abandoned, spooky, dangerous factory.
The factory is located very near the water. (See that pipe in one of the fotos? It runs from the factory to the bay. How very clever of them, polluting the bay like that.) There are also train tracks that run right by the factory.
But none of that's important. Here are the fat photographers themselves:
OK, since you asked. Two more random pictures from Liana.
And now, FINALLY, Chris the dork, celebrating.
