When Our Lord extended the invitation to the first apostles to "become fishers of men," He knew that it would require the selfless
dedication of courageous men and women throughout all time periods to labor tirelessly for His Church. For all those who are engaged in the educational apostolate of the Church , their work is truly a vocation. Without the vocations of ordained priests, those in consecrated life, laymen, and laywomen who staff Catholic institutions of learning, the goals and objectives of Catholic education would never be realized. A key component to the success of Epiphany School's mission is, therefore, the dedicated efforts of the faculty and entire staff who serve the School
Research attempting to identify favorable outcomes in the teaching-learning process have consistently identified on variable which affects the success of the educational process - the teacher. The instructional faculty of Epiphany confirms this finding. All teachers employed by Epiphany
are degreed professionals who possess appropriate state certification. Over seventy percent of the staff have pursued graduate coursework leading to masters degrees in education or an academic specialization. All teachers are continuously engaged in professional development activities aimed at enhancing their teaching performance. The average number of years of teaching experience is greater at Epiphany when compared with most schools. A low rate of turnover in the staff is a definitive factor contributing to the School's continuity and stability.
