Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have been forced to close my clear envelope business. Thanks to all who have supported me for almost 10 years. It has been so great meeting such a wide range of people. I will miss you terribly, but you can always write an email note to me any time.

Sincerely
Laura Johnson

Dear Friends,

I have received so many wonderful notes from many of you that I thought I’d add this personal page to what used to be my envelope web site. If you have stumbled on it, I hope you enjoy what you read!

Life goes on and is even busier than ever! My interior redesign business, Let Me Rearrange You, is doing quite well. I seem to have clients who can and do become friends, which makes it even better! Working in someone’s home with their treasures is an honor and privilege.

Just when I thought I’d ease up a bit, I added Weekenders clothing to my resume! Shoot, everyone has to wear clothes, so why not? I’ve worn Weekenders for a couple of years so being part of the “wear & share” program in order to get them at a substantial discount is great! Curious? Shoot me an email and I’ll explain.

Our biggest family news and the main motivation for writing this update is to tell you about our daughter Elizabeth’s amazing adventure. On Sept. 1, 2004, she left for New Zealand where she is training and doing Christian outreach with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). The group is very small (about 20) and they will be moving to a different “marae” every few weeks, working with the Maori people. We’ve only had a couple of notes and 2 phone calls but she sounded so happy and excited. They are learning the language, dances, songs, and greetings… they rub nosed to foreheads, somewhat like the Eskimos!

For those who do not know her, she graduated from Sonoma State University in 2003 as a Human Development major with an Anthropology minor. She worked as a pre-school teacher all last year but quickly discovered that was not for her! Amazing how the Lord lead her to New Zealand where she can sing and perform (her passion) and already had knowledge of tribal cultures. When she left, she had no idea what she would be doing. If you are interested in corresponding with her, please contact me privately. Because of the public nature of a web page, it wouldn’t be wise to post the information here.

Stay tuned for updates as we get them! Prayers appreciated always.

Sincerely,

Laura Johnson
