Green Sphere

Green Sphere, Inc. was incorporated in 1988 by an outreach program of Columbia University's Law Department. The organization's main objective is to educate the general public, through the media, about the importance of social responsibility towards the environment. Green Sphere has managed to transcend color/ethnicity, class, age and gender - and build a grouping of committed environmentalists, cultural workers and mass media activists. There is an old British trade union movement slogan, that also applies to the environmental movement: AEIOU - Agitate, Educate, Instigate, Organize, Unionize. Green Sphere continues to accomplish this agenda.
