It's that simple.

It's the 21st century, the Cold War is long over, and the myth of their need as a deterrent against "rogue nations" or terrorism is pure fallacy. Their continued possession by any nation only raises the danger of their eventual use by someone, whether accidental or intentional.

Is this an acceptable legacy for our children?
The best defense is a well-informed public.
Make your views known. Contact your government. Become active in the quest for a nuclear weapon-free world. Support Non-Proliferation and Disarmament. Urge your politicians and government leaders to denounce nuclear weapons and to declare your home country a nuclear weapon-free zone.
Aren't your children worth it?
