NOTE: Staff in the above positions provide daily living needs and skills training for persons with developmental disabilities living in group homes or semi-independent settings. The successful candidate for these positions must:

1. Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency.

2. Be able to communicate orally and in writing and be able to read, understand and follow written directions.

3. Be able to pass a criminal background and Adult/Child Protective Service check.

4. Possess a valid driver's license in good standing and have an available automobile with state required auto insurance.

5. Be able to meet the Agency's lifting requirement of 70 pounds.

ALL ENCOR STAFF MUST ATTEND DAYTIME TRAINING. Typical training hours are Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the next Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Medical training is the first Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Responsible for the direct supervision of assigned residential settings and the consumers residing in those settings.  Must meet requirements listed under Residential Assistant plus have 1 year paid experience in a community-based mental retardation program.  Hours vary and will be on a 24 hour beeper.
PROGRAM MANAGER/ VAN DRIVER fulltime Omaha South; Fremont	$10.58/hr.	Position combines duties of Van Driver and Program Manager. Program Manager duties: work with developmentally disabled persons at a job site. Van Driver duties: drive persons in service in an agency van. Must meet educational, lifting, and communication requirements of Residential Assistant, plus must possess a valid driver's license and have no moving violations in the last 12 months, no chargeable accidents in the last 24 months, and never have been convicted of a DUI. Must have 20/40 actual or corrected vision. Monday to Friday - day hours.
CNA/ Van Driver fulltime Jerry Graesser Center Ames MSU	$10.75/hr.	Position combines duties of Van Driver and CNA.  CNA duties:  Provide care for medically involved, developmentally disabled persons at a medical support unit.   Van driver duties:  drive persons in service in an agency van.  Must meet requirements of Residential Assistant with a valid CNA license, plus 1 year paid experience working in a hospital or nursing home plus must possess a valid driver's license and have no moving violations in the last 12 months, no chargeable accidents in the last 24 months, and never have been convicted of a DUI.  Must have 20/40 actual or corrected vision.  Ames MSU:  evening, overnight and weekend shifts. FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER fulltime Home Based	$10/75/hr.	Provide developmentally disabled consumers and their families with support in life areas.  Services may be provided in the consumer’s home or in a respite facility.  Must meet requirements listed under Residential Assistant plus have two years related education or experience. Varied days and hours.

Office on Aging

RN CASE MANAGER fulltime		Provide assessments and referrals to individuals served by the Office on Aging. Visit clients at their home, and develop care plans for those clients.  Must be an RN and have a minimum of two years experience in public or home health nursing. Must have a driver's license in good standing, car and car insurance. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
MULTIPURPOSE SENIOR CENTER MANAGER fulltime Bellevue Senior Center		Responsible for designing, implementing, operating and monitoring a planned program which includes a variety of servies to meet the needs of the older people the center serves.  Duties include supervising staff and volunteers.  Education or experience in gerontology, human services or related field required.  Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
