Special Lewis Guest: Paul F. Ford
Paul F. Ford is the author of A Companion to Narnia, the indispensible guide to C.S. Lewis's created world, and Professor of Theology and Liturgy at St. John's College in California. He is the founder of the Southern California C.S. Lewis Society.
Special Barfield Guest: Verlyn Flieger
Verlyn Flieger has written Splintered Light: Logos and Language in Tolkien's World, which demonstrates Tolkien's use of the language theories of Owen Barfield. She has also presented such Barfield-related papers as "Nemerov and Barfield: the Poet Dreaming in the Scholar's House" (1985) and "Owen Barfield in Elvish Words" (1996). Her latest book, A Question of Time: J.R.R. Tolkien's Road to Fäerie, has just been published by Kent State University Press.
