If you do not understand, or know how to perform, any part of this ritual, please do not hesitate to ask me for guidance.  I consider it far better to ask than to proceed in the darkness of ignorance.  And we all can plead “ignorant” on any subject until we learn something about it.  The first step in learning comes when you say, "I do not know."

For this ritual you need a small bowl of salt and a larger bowl of water.   Place them before you on the Altar.  Start by performing the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.  After you have built up your circle, recite:

 

"Holy art Thou, Lord of the Universe!

Holy art Thou, Whom Nature hath not formed!

Holy art Thou! the Vast and Mighty One!

Lord of the Light and of the Darkness!"

 

Now point to the salt with your index and middle fingers extended (bend the third and forth fingers towards the palm and lay the thumb upon their nails) and say:

"I exorcise thee, creature of the earth, by virtue of the Living God, the Seven Mighty Elohim. all the Angels, Archangels, and the Cosmic Legions of the Light. Be thou purified of all evil influences in the Name, Love, Wisdom, and Power of Tetragrammaton Who rules over Earth, Heaven, and the Underworld!"

Extend your hand over the salt, palm downwards, and say:

"Creature of the Earth, adore thy Creator! In the Name of the Unknowable God and by virtue of the Power of Tetragrammaton, I consecrate you in sacred service."

Point to the Water and repeat the entire invocation as above with the salt (making the appropriate substitution). Now cast the salt into the water and, with hand extended over the water, say:

"I pray Thee, Almighty and Ever-Living God, Ruler of Heaven and Earth, and of all that exists in them, both visible and invisible, that Thou mayst stretch forth the Right Hand of Thy Power upon these creatures of the Elements and hallow them in Thy Holy Name.  Grant that this salt shall make for health of body and this water for health of the soul, and that there may be banished from the place where they are used every power of adversity and every illusion and artifice of evil."

To use this Holy Water for Exorcism of a space, first cense the area then sprinkle the water to the four corners while saying:

"In the Name which is above every other name, and by the power of Tetragrammaton, the Seven Mighty Elohim, all the Angels, Archangels, and Cosmic Legions of Light, I exorcise all influences and seeds of evil; I lay upon them the spell of the Power and Holiness that they may be bound fast as with chains and cast into the outer darkness that they trouble not the servants of God."
