Hi! Come on in and make yourself comfortable in my little corner of cyberspace and I'll tell you a little bit about myself and the things I enjoy most in life.

I am Glenda Elyse Davis Mariner, married with four kids. I am a librarian and became familiar with the Internet through my job. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. and moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Bennett College. I have been surfing the Internet forquite a while now and have discovered many sites which can keep me preoccupied for hours, but more about those later. I guess you could characterize me by my:

LOVE of my family. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and it all began with my husband, Tom. Tom is an employee of the City of Los Angeles. He is not yet a Web surfer, but instead, reserves his free time for Golf. Then there is Timothy, my oldest son. Timothy is a certified Webaholic when he isn't devoting his time to his other passion, music. He is also a recording engineer in Glendale, CA., but you can find out more about Timothy by visiting his homepage. Kashawn is my only daughter. She is a 1993 graduate of Spelman College and is presently working in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Next up is Terrin. Terrin attends Universal Studios. Kevin is the baby of the family. He is in the 12th grade at University High in West Los Angeles. He likes surfing the Sports Web sites. Here is a picture of my family.

JOY is what I get when I am working on my other hobby--floral arranging, especially for weddings. I have done the floral arrangements for a few weddings I am mostly self taught with a couple of formal classes. Quite by accident, I got into making bridal veils and they have turned out, surprisingly well. Right now, I am into, balloon decorating. It is really easy it to make balloon arches, etc. If you are interested in learning how to build a balloon arch, e-mail me below. I guess I am trying to get a head start on my daughter's wedding, whenever she decides to get married.

PEACE & Happiness comes from being saved. I am a member of Bethany Baptist Church of West Los Angeles where Dr. R. Johnson is pastor and Rev. L. A. Kessee is executive pastor. Pastor Johnson founded the Bethany Christian Bible College which offers a systematic coure of study leading to a certificate and is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Some of the courses offerred: Basic Christian Doctrine, Hermeneutics, New Testament Survey, Christ in the Tabernacle, Evangelism. Click here to see a list of classes offered. Pastor Johnson is the founder of the National Evangelism Movement which has grown to encompass 200 churches across the U. S., Canada, Alaska and Trinidad. It is an outgrowth of his belief that Christians can be trained to become effective witnesses for Christ.
