- Notes:
- (Rev. 4 Nov 2006) Amos is shown as father of Martha A. Mayberry in Samuel Dole's "Family Records" section of Windham, Maine Vital Records (1897), court. Windham Historical Society. This relationship also appears, with his name, dates, POB, and burial, in family records of Frank B. Ells. In 1840, Amos Mayberry was in Windham (Cumberland Co.) ME with a family of wife, 3 girls, and 3 boys, and this family appears (with names) in Falmouth USC in 1850 (M432_250, pade 123, image 426). He was said to be a farmer. The DOB given in 1850 USC (1797) is consistent with family records. Martha A.'s name appears in the 1850 Falmouth USC . He is shown as the son of Richard Mayberry and Merriam Thomson on p486, Samuel Thomas Cole's "Windham in the Past," Auburn ME: Merrill & Webber Co., 1916.
