Individual Record for: Abigail [??] BARTOL (female)

SPECULATIVE PERSON. Though Abigail Bartol is given in the EellsFH as William [II]?s first wife and the mother of some of his children, new records cast great doubt on that. Only one record, written 100 years after the fact, states that William had been married to an Abigail Bartol, who was said to have been born at Cape Ann. I believe it is now documented that Abigail Millet was his first wife and probably the mother of his children. Abigail Bartol should, I think, be regarded as speculative, pending further information.
