RESUME

Since my return to higher education I have found a renewed passion for the power of words. They hold the ability to persuade and disuade, to soothe and excite, to hurt and to heal. They create visions in the mind painting mental pictures. They have the capacity to build bridges and move mountains. My writings are often autobiographical as my only true expertise is in my own life.

Those who have inspired me are my college english professor Ed Minus for taking the time to inspire, encourage and teach me, Robert Frost for his colloquial style of imagery, my father for teaching me that sentamentalism is a wonderful thing and my family for giving me inspiration and reason to write.
