the Author
Ellen Feinstein Krueger
is a freelance writer in Acton, Massachusetts. Her newspaper
articles are read throughout eastern Massachusetts. Her magazine
articles have appeared in a number of national publications.

year old Quaker parrot who lives a life of indulgence as the
only bird of the Krueger family. She often appears as the
