Swim Suit Info
We do not require purchase of a team suit. Our team colors are black and
silver, so it is nice if each swimmer has a black suit for meets.
- Girls -- one-piece black racing suit
- Boys -- jammers (tight suit that comes down to the knees). Generally boys wear a looser suit over this and take off the loose one for races
Practice suits may be any color or style. Girls need to wear modest suits
-- no skimpy two-piece suits or see-through suits! Boys need to be sure that their suits will stay on -- tie them tightly.
The coach(es) have the right to request
that a swimmer not wear a specific suit, or that it be tied tighter, or covered. If the coach(es) do request that a
specific suit not be worn, or if there is a recurring problem with a swimmer's suit, the swimmer's parents will be notified.
Swim Caps are recommended but not required. Each swimmer
will receive one team cap free of charge prior to the first meet. Additional caps may be available if needed at
a cost of $4 each. City Meet Swimmers will also receive a new cap just prior to the City Meet.
