Babs is completely oblivious

No, not Streisand, Bush. Barbara Bush. It's not that she and her family are evil, per se, they're just rich and privileged and think their shit don't stink. And on top of it all, they are truly, truly oblivious to the problems in society. Remember the whole flap about Babs telling Katrina victims in the Houston Astrodome how nice it was to be living with tens of thousands of other homeless victims ("Kind of fun, no?" she said to a kid there or something to that effect). Now she's earmarked a donation to a Katrina fund so that it can only be used to buy her son Neil's learning software. The Bush's are just completely above it all, aren't they? So oblivious.
