Robert R. Sullivan as well as his younger brother Brent is a Troop 241 Eagle Scout. His son Jonathan is also an Eagle Scout. He currently lives in California where he was an assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 908. Robert wrote: "Like many others, merit badges I earned (Electronics, Computers, and Radio... and others) formed the beginnings of my career & hobby interests. For the last 18 years I've worked for Intel Corp. Since 1993 I've been in Pleasanton, California. I met my wife of 25+ years at the University of Washington; we have one son and two daughters. We're members of Valley Community Church where I'm a volunteer leader with the high school ministry & where I've led a high school boys' bible study for the last 8 years or so. Scouting taught me more than I knew at the time; we spend free time exploring and hiking in the outdoors, including the Sierras here in Northern California. Every time I get into & paddle a canoe, tie a knot, use an axe, build a fire in the wood stove, or confidently prepare for an outdoor outing I remember Scouting. Joe Blake was our Scoutmaster, and Bill Fields before him - a legacy of those men and of Scouting is a part of me and now part of my son." It would be great to hear from other Troop 241 alums...
