Our Year At Novice

These photos are from our first year together, competing in Novice level Horse Trials, which consist of a simple (training level) dressage test, a cross-country test over 2'11" fences at approximately 350 meters per minute (a brisk canter, which is much slower than she'd prefer), and a stadium jumping test, also at 2'11". We're now competing at Training Level.)

At Flintridge February '97, Open Novice. (Finished 3rd!)

At Del Mar July '97, Novice Rider. (We won, with the best overall Novice score!)

At American Valley August '97, Open Novice. (Finished 3rd!)

At CTETA September '97, Novice Rider. (Finished 2nd!)
