Golden Gate Bridge from Marin

This popular tourist photo was taken with a triple exposure with individual exposures made using a red, green and blue filters. These filters make up white light. When this tricolar technique is used with a stationary subject (the bridge and surrounding landscape) and moving objects (the traffic) the moving cars take on the color of the filter used. Only cameras capable of double exposures can be used and a rock steady tripod is needed.
