Update November 8, 2001
Engrish - The "Japanesed English" Website - I stumbled upon this one night, and loved it. Some definite NC-17 material is scattered about, so beware! Funny translations that must result from a Japanese marketing type sitting down with a Japanese/English dictionary and just translating phrases word for word.
EJ's '99 Accord Project - My tribute to my immature impulses that were suppressed at the appropriate age, but have now surfaced. Wonder what suburbanites sometimes waste their money on? Here's a growing trend...
Space Ghost's Home Page - Come see why people who know me worry so much about my well-being. I love this show!
alldas.de's Defacement Mirrored Site
- For you 'net newbies, check out what happens when a website gets hacked.
Email me if you need any help w/ the terms. This is a German website, but the text is in
English (the ONLY American language). Remember, the dates are in 'DD/MM/YYYY' order.
Click on 'original site' domain name to see what the site is supposed to look like.
Click on 'mirror' (under the 'archive' heading) to see the hacked website.
APB News' Neighborhood Crime Check - Ever wonder what the crime stats are for your neighborhood? Just type in your ZIP and it'll be revealed. I use this to scope out hotels when I travel. My recent trip to Atlanta had the Hilton scoring a 9 out of 10 - High Crime! But we walked around and I only had a few beggars come up to me and ask for money.
International Trepanation Advocacy Group - Some people believe you really do need a hole in the head! If anyone is looking for gift ideas, I'd love a black t-shirt w/ the skull on it, size XL.
Ivan Kalish's Controversial Website - I'm afraid Ivan may have fell victim to the very forces that he complained so much about. I'm sorry Ivan for not believing you! His email claimed that his web site hosting company died.
Kooks Museum - For some reason I find this site reassuring, showing me that as bad as I think this world is, there are people out there who feel it is far worse. Then again, not knowing where the featured 'artists' on this site actually conduct their lives is spooky in itself.
Adbusters Culture Jammers Headquarters - Almost as delusional as some of the entries on the Kooks Museum page, I give these guys credit for at least trying in the face of overwhelming odds. Every revolution has to start somewhere.
Evil Bert - The Evil
Bert website has been victimized by Usama bin Laden. Taking the American icon, Bert,
of "Ernie & Bert" Sesame Street fame, this site has put together a
collection of pictures that will reveal a side of Bert that probably few people are aware
of. Unfortunately, one of those images happened to be of Bert assisting Usam bin
Laden. Some morons in Bangladesh grabbed the image off of this website and made it
into a poster that was used by protesting Muslim f*ckheads. The media caught pics of
this unbelievable image, and soon the crap started for the websites which featured these
pictures. RIP, Evil Bert. Oh, and a big 'F U' to any Muslim Extremists out
there.
It's my intent to put my collection of oddball websites for permanent storage after having appeared in the Weakly Comment section. Check back soon.
