The Eric John Hawout Family Ministry

Eric John, his lovely wife Derricka Micah and Macey As a Bible-believing Baptist, Eric John does not affiliate with charismatic or unscriptural organizations. Eric John, with his powerful rich booming tenor voice, sings a variety of southern and traditional gospel hymns. All of his selections are conservative and Christ-centered, which makes this ministry an asset for the local church. Eric John comes on a love offering basis, and trusts the Lord to take care and supply his needs through God's people. He travels with his own sound system and uses background accompaniment tracks. 	Since February 1989, Eric John Hawout has dedicated his life, heart, and talent to a ministry of gospel music as a gospel tenor soloist. His purpose through song, scripture, and testimony, has been to uplift and glorify the Lord Jesus to reach the lost and encourage the saints of God.
	On April 6, 1966, Eric John was born the youngest of three boys. Eric John accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior at the age of 7, and his earliest years found him growing up in an independent fundamental Baptist Church. Eric was involved in many of the church's youth activities. As a student in high school, he achieved All-State honors in football. Over the course of 6 1/2 years college, he earned a BSBA degree in 1991 from Youngstown State Univ. Eric first met Derricka on August 23^rd, 1987, at Christ Memorial Baptist Church in Warren, Ohio, her home church. She was saved at only four years old and was baptized at nine years. Christ Memorial Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental Baptist church, which was under the leadership of Pastor Robert Bitterman during this period. He was her pastor for 21 years. 	In 1989, the Lord lead Eric into a solo ministry of music to the local fundamental churches with Derricka assisting him by running the sound system. After three years, they were married at his home church in Niles, where he and his wife are members. Macey Belle was born on the eighth anniversary of the day Eric and Derricka met. She has begun her share of the ministry by singing with her Daddy occasionally. Brother Micah was born three years later on May 4^th, 1998. Eric John is assisted by Derricka at the sound board and his parents who almost always travel with them. Macey has begun to sing children's songs and sometimes joins her Daddy in a duet. The Hawout family lives in Mineral Ridge, Ohio. Eric is a dairy and frozen food manager for IGA Supercenter in Girard, Ohio. Derricka attended Cedarville College and is a legal secretary for a private attorney in Warren, Ohio.	Son Micah
