The HEB 2020 accepts gels up to 20 cm x 20 cm. Completely enclosed lid and drip retaining base. For safety power leads must be disconnected to open unit. Color coded lid, base and leads prevents reversal of polarity. Solid construction of 3/16 inch red and 1/4 inch black acrylic, 3/8 inch laminated base with 1/4 inch thick graphite plates. |

Quadruple Capacity: Holds 4 Cassettes in Buffer chamber no larger than those of other models holding only three cassettes. |

Hinged Cassette: Rigid acrylic hinges assure no movement between the two cassette halves. The Cassettes are made of 3/16" acrylic. One half of the cassette is colored red, the other black to prevent misorientation to the electrodes. Cassettes are drilled with a hole pattern which provides maximum circulation of buffer. |

Distribute Even Pressure: Heavy duty acrylic cassettes assures even contact over entire membrane /filter paper, and the gel. |

Movable Platinum Electrode Cassettes: The 66cm of 0.010" platinum wire electrodes are each completely protected by two sturdy acrylic panels drilled with the same hole pattern as the cassettes. The electrode cassettes are the same thickness as the hinged cassettes and therefore can be placed in any position from 9.5cm apart with 4 cassettes in between, to 4cm apart with one cassette in between. The 4cm /one cassette formation is particularly useful for high intensity transfers. |
