Known for fusing multicultural elements with a
dynamic combination of music and choreography,
NYC-based Eidolon Ballet celebrates its 10th anniversary
season with its Joyce SoHo debut. Under the direction
of Melanie Cortier, Eidolon will present Decology,
an evening of dance built on the theme Reduce,
Reuse and Recycle. Decology will feature
a world-premiere as well as the return of fan favorites
Apposition and Mana. The program also includes
a new work performed to live accompaniment by Natalia
Paruz, New York's famous 'Saw
Lady.' Ms.
Paruz has performed with the Israel Philharmonic
Orchestra, the Westchester Philharmonic Orchestra,
the Royal Air Moroccan Symphony Orchestra, the
Riverside Orchestra and at Lincoln Center's Avery
Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden.
