Watership Down is a novel
about a band of rabbits who travel
from place to place trying to find a
peaceful place that they can call
"home." Using a variety of
problem-solving skills, the rabbits
must rely on each other to survive.
The novel is filled with herorism,
courage, and resourcefulness,
focusing on group dynamics and
differing leadership styles. This web-based thematic unit
contains resources and activities
for both teachers and students. The Teacher
